My mom can to me and told me my grandfather had just died this morning in Romania... I don't know what to do... I am all dry eyed from crying too much... And to sum it all up he died right on Fathers day.... I wonder how my dad feels right now... The doctors said he died from a stroke... Why couldn't have I been there? No, actually I don't want to be there... I wouldn't have wanted to see him die... I refuse to go to his funeral... If you believe in God, please pray.
As I did indeed pray for your cause, don't let it bug you TOO much. I know it's really painful, trust me, I know. But it's okay, man.
not to come across as cold, but thats part of life bub. losing a loved one is painful as hell and the worst part is.. you will probably go through it many more times through out your life.. best thing you can do is understand that they are now in a place far greater than the one you currently reside in, and be happy for them.

As much as death doesn't upset me..I laughed at my great grans funeral...don't ask why, I will pray for you Ruyuk, that is so sad, and on fathers day, I can't imagine how you're all feeling. My prayers definately go out to you.
wow, im really sorry. Ive only had one person that i knew die in my life, i was extremely close to her... I literally cried for weeks on weeks...
I always feel better when i talk about things, it sucks when your doing it, but it helps a lot afterward. I'm not sure about you, but its something to try. I don't mean just talk about your grandpa, but EVERYTHING. Talk to someone you trust alot, and someone you know can just listen (aka someone who doesn't give advice every ten seconds, that wont make you feel any better.) I hope that if my advice doesn't help, that at least something does. It sucks [insert several words here] when someone dies.
My ancestry is german/viking/celtic and the one tradition that has been handed down from generation to generation in my family to help with greiving(and it works), is to celebrate the person and the life they lived, the moments everyone had with them.
A persons funeral is a big party, everyone eats, drinks and laughs with all the good memories in celebration of the departed. So my advice to anyone that loses a loved one, celebrate their life, do not mourn their death.
My uncle, great grand-parents, cousins, and many others have died since i've been alive. I haven't ever really mourned over anyone. I don't think death really affects me. It's just such a natural occurance that must happen at one time or another and I find that I am just able to accept that.

No...its really not. I was laughing at my cousin because she was being so dramatic about it all. Playing the part of a full mourner. My family doesn't die. My great gran was 104. And the only family member to pass away...shame. She was the only one I liked as well. *sigh*

Hey Ruyuk, even though I've resigned myself to more of an observation role here, I feel I must offer you my reguards. Sorry to hear about that tragic news, and With such horrible timing as well. Yet, death is only a part of life, and although you will miss him, I'm sure he'll live on in your thoughts/memories. Sorry again and hope you cheer up soon.

hmmm reminds me of my best freinds death...exept age...i dont think of it much more but it wasnt very sad when it happened cuz i dont feel too much emotion but...i do mourn inside but thats about it...
Ruyuk my condolences to you and your grandfather. Death is hard thing to deal with, but he is in a better place now. I know that's cliche, but I want someone to remind me of that when I struggle with the death of a loved one.
