I dont come to off topic very often, so I haven't seen this thread. Here are a few rules I'm going to lay out:
- No Billy Mays pictures or references in your avatars or signatures. Its not in the rules, I'm just saying it. Same goes for Michael Jackson, Farrah Fawcet or any other deceased celebs.
- No derogatory remarks about recently deceased celebs and no pictures using their likenesses for humor or satire.
I'm going to sweep this thread again in a couple days and every avatar or signature with billy mays in it will mean an infraction.

I have no insults to DS. BUT i want to ask what hurt anyone has done with the Billy Mays that it must be removed. I just logged on so my avatar and signature arent changed. In the end i dont believe i will change my avatar, if remembering a good man for a good life, in a peaceful manner is so wrong, then i dont feel like being right. Thanks for your time.

While the identical avatars deeply irritated me, I do agree that this is a little too far. Aside from 7 or 8 people with the same avatar, it was harmless. They should be allowed to keep the unique signatures, and Billy Mays related avatars.
Might as well give me the infraction now, because my avatar is staying the way it is.
