I live on the East Coast - sort of...Ohio. Was anyone else's power effected when Hurricane Ike hit and the storms from it travelled north? That was a long time ago though.

I am talking about a data center. Look it up on google news. Just happened last night

It had a worldwide impact. it's one of the largst data centers on the west coast. Bing travel went down and a major credit card processor went down...

Was National City or Visa affected?

Authorize.net was in the data center. It authorizes credit cards, it is not a credit card... Read the newsarticles if you want to know mor, it is hard to type quickly on the iPhone

Meaning credit card transactions couldn't take place for many merchants...
Also verizon dsl went down in seatle because of this

I'm on Evony aren't I? So I would say no, I was not affected.
