I think the series is alright. I think people have taken it a bit over the top. No offence to Stephenie Meyer but it's not that great of writing. The movie was just one big close up after another so I'll never be able to tell say if it was any good or not.
Edward himself I agree too many girls going nuts over him. :s
If you think about it, vampires are homosexual. They feed by exchanging bodily fluids and all. So don't go crazy over Edward, him and another guy are probably "feeding" right now.

Im fine with the series. Its the super annoying OMG EDWARD! WHY ARENT YOU LIKE MY EDWARD! girls that ruined the series. Personal opinion if i was a girl Jacob is hotter. My opinion Alice is the hottest. I love Alice, but i would never expect a girl to live up to that.

I think he's trying too hard. It's like somewhere along the line his mommy convinced him he could be a heartthrob and since then the Disney gang have been trying to prep him for stardom. I prefer a guy who is naturally hot...and a good bit less mousse is a plus.

God I hate Twilight. Every few years some teeny bopper pop culture "phenomenon" comes along that makes be want to punch everyone involved with it directly in the face and this year it's Twilight.
