I'm a Kung-Fu Master.
No, but that's where I learned Report Nesterus-Kong.
you just wanna get anyone banned who doesnt think you are some funny super guy
Now quit derailing my thread you are obviously not in the martial arts you just wanted to come here and bait me knowing how I feel about you and your inablility to handle simple forum words that mean nothing in the great scheme of things
does wrestling count?
like high school wrestling?
yea.........
I was referring to something other than a highschool sanctioned sport
but as long as you are learning techniques and building up your strength its all gravy
Karate
Kenpo
Taekwondo
Judo
Muay Thai Kick Boxing
Those are what I practiced for years, all the martial arts were just to add to the kick boxing to make it more effective.
a question about taekwondo.. are the moves tornado kick and dragon kick one of thee basic moves in taekwondo or one of the advance ones?
I like gravy!!
I have some tournament vids on youtube they arent very impressive just because they are the little fairy touch point tournaments
No that is all bogus junk
Basic kicks are the front kick the round kick the side kick and the hook kick all of which are very simple
a tornado kick is alot more advanced as it requires more coordination. you will not see it used very often as it isnt very practical
The side kick alone can break bones and knock someone out if done properly
The side kick is meant to strike the floating ribs and can definatly take the wind out of anyone's sails when performed properly
Karate - Made it to Black Belt and had to move -.-
Taekwondo
Judo
Pretty much all I know. Karate is my best
I've taken MTKB, Pankration and been involved in Shootfighting for about 10 years.
I'm a top 20 Ranked amateur in MMA as of July 1st and have been in the top 20 for about 5 years now. I've been really fortunate to train with a few of the best MMA fighters ever such as Jeremy Horn and Pat Miletich.
I'm a black belt in Tae Kwon Do but I don't actively practice it anymore or go to tournaments or anything.
I am.
I"m a brown belt in taiqwando (or however you spell it)
About 30 and Chung-Mu was given the name is Admiral Yi-Sun-Sin. The left handed attack at the end symbolizes his death before he could prove his loyalty to his king. You should know that I just looked at of that up online. Like I said I no longer actively practice and even if I did I never counted the moves and was never taught the significance. If this was some sort of test to see if I really was a black belt you could have easily asked me for a picture of the belt, which I would have provided.
No you pretty much told me what I needed to know in response to your black belt. I am not trying to put down your schooling or whatever, but where I take class at we take it all very seriously the interpretations and the movements. We are taught the history and the tradition of TKD. When I said I was a TKD freak I wasnt kidding lol.
Alot of TKD gets a bad name these days because there are so many joke instructors that just want your money and your belt test fees and will promote you when you dont deserve it etc. Not saying that was you just something I have observed alot in the past.
I do Isshin-ryu.
Let's see- I was in Shaolin Goju Karate for 3 years, and did not recieve my Black belt as I was 6 months too young, and even then the instructor had to get permission from his instructor in Japan to allow me and another student to test 1 year early because we were ready at age 10, not 11. Then we moved and I re-rolled in ATA/Karate America/ What-ever the branch is were you are. DO NOT TAKE ATA TAEKWONDO
It is the school that prides itself on 6 year old, 9 months of training black belts. I did the path correctly, and reached 2nd degree in that, but was not happy.
I am know in the form I like the most, possibly more thna my 1st one, Krav Maga. I am halfway up the ranking system, and have 1 more year, and if I pass the 2 tests during that year, I will have to go to LA, California to test for the next rank.
To prevent confusion of styles, the style I take's website is:
