i dont understand worm holes.

I get wormholes.

What I don't understand is why a person traveling at light speed for a one year round trip would return to an earth hundreds of years in the future.
I accept that it's true, smart people say it's true. I just can't visualize the concept.

It's called "relativity", at those speeds time bends and speeds up. So while going at the speed of light you are literally traveling faster though time.

Until someone jumps into a black hole, and dies, I am not sure you can die from being sucked into a black hole.

They need to just send a death row prisoner into a black hole and see what happens...
