why?
I enjoy the idea of the daily amulet award, its something to look forward too, and yes i am aware its a lottery style system,
''You never know what you are going to get''
How ever having progressed through the game as i have done through countless hours of upgrades, The one thing i hate to see when i throw in my daily amulet, is the award of 40000 lumber, or any other resource. This is starting to frustrate me a little. Has any one considered removing the resource awards from the amulet, an perhaps increasing the potential of better awards for those who need them. Ive sat n watched as some Evony players have received
Medal boxes
Michelangelo's scripts,
game cents,
usefull items, that would benefit a number of players im sure. A little disheartening when i get lumber. Im sure im not alone in this. Just starting to question the title of the game, Evony-free forever,???
Shouldnt it be Evony-we award those who buy game cents???

MOAR FREE STUFF, MOAR
The purpose of the Lumber and such, obviously, is to keep you from getting some of the better things.
Each thing is weighted, heavily, I might add. You have to be very lucky to get a Holy Helm of Mars, lest everyone be running around with lvl70 heroes with 250 politics.

Yea, people really need to stop complaining about free stuff,
-
People need to stop saying that people need to stop complaining about free stuff.

The Wheel of Food is pretty much a Joke.
I've been keeping track on one server..
In 25 days I have gotten Resources 18 TImes.
twice I have gotten Begineers Guidelines ( I have 300K Prestige on that server...do I need BG? I think not)
1 Jr Batt.
1 Wisdom Medal
1 War Horn
1 Speaker ( that's one speaker, not a package of a lot of speakers)
and 1 15K gold Pack.
I've been watching that stupid Announcer at the top ( I wish they would get rid of that, it is annoying, and just eats up program resources...but I digress), one player, in that same 25 days, has hit 1K Coins, Twice.
ON that server, I have not spent a dime. I talked to the player who hit the 1K coins twice, guess what? He's paid over 500 USD into the game.
Yes, the wheel is Weighted, and look who it favors.
-
ppl that waste 500 dollars on a game should be hung drawn and quartered...the same ppl that have lvl 10 everything, and use that to attack and bully smaller people who arent that lame that they need to spend money on this game...
ok, so i have spent 15 USD...so i cant talk... and well, that damn amulet gave me just what id been waiting for, for once...one measly medal.......usually it spits out food or beginner battalions... also, you may find 9 medals in ten attacks...but try finding that tenth one...oh boy....
-
Hmmm....hate to disillusion but I can't see it's weighted as I've spent quite a lot on this game too but still get food or junior battalions. Yeah we can all moan but I was a newby before the wheel began. Now those resources would have came in handy when all I had was 5k wood and had to wait or pay....so the wheel realy prospers all I think despite the stuff on there isn't needed by seasoned players.....It's still free though and more than I had when I started. I'd like to see better prizes on there all the same tho...like maybe 500k lumber would be useful to advanced and seasoned players alike.
-
Yes, the game is free. Yes, paying money gives you an advantage. Grow up.
-
So in essence its a case of play or dnt play, the value of a player doesnt count, favour those who help the game profit?
if a game is to survive then it has to relate to all who play, My point was an still remains, why have the resources in the amulet for people who have an income of 100k or more resource on the hour, its frustratin.
-
Yes it can be frustrating....but its free. if you would prefer nothing at all then dont play the wheel
