From what I've heard, they're almost sure that a mod account was hacked.

No, I think its because they hired a mod with 30 posts despite Zenrax's warning so it trucked them over.

Although it was most likely definitely a mistake to hire a mod with such little experience, I don't think they'll get rid of him.

Ladies and gentlemen, may I please ask that we drop discussion on of this matter. The how and the why of the issue is not really a question anymore. Suffice to say, that the core of the matter has been dealt with, and we are attempting to restore the forums as best we can. As the threads have been mostly restored I am unsticking this, as it is no longer needed.
