I would say it depends on the woman. My girl does not get offended or mad if I call other girls that. She just laughs. But then again my girl has her own special nicknames that only she gets called to. Such as Emmy, and Sunshine, and penguin, and piranha.
Girl friends expect to be treated differently than any other girl, and in your case the issue is names. I see no issue with babes because it is not a special nickname, but say you called her, idk, Nurse, then you cant call other girls that.
Dont ask were nurse comes from. lol

Switching point of views... how would guys feel if your girl calls other guys endearments? Think of how you would feel!

well you should know if your woman is the jealous type and if so you have to nip it in the bud
take preventative measures and steer the situation into something you can manage. also dont let her watch Lifetime that stuff is the devil man
