Maybe that game just blows. Which it does.

WOW(o,not that crappy game either), cant believe some of the comments coming thorugh my thread, and the fact its still going.
to those that have read this that were unaware of the 10:1 ratio that i have helped to point it out to you are welcome.
yes you require mich...scripts to go above level9 (you require thm for lvl10 construction not as described to go above lvl10) but you can get these the same as medals from flats/valleys.
back on track. this game continues to fleece, i was one of the few that did purchase the $30 for the $50 bonus, my $30 dollars was gone basically in a day with a couple intermediate speed ups and a few aries, thats as far as it got, well actually i never got to spend all $30 as on a spin of the WoF i won some cents(yippee) they actually got debited from my account instead of being credited:mad:. also it appears now the $50 has been awarded, guess what, no chest for me containing the bonus.
looking around on the forum, i certainly am not alone.
guess i just can stress enough now:
DONT BUY CREDITS UNTIL ALL THE GLITCHES ARE SORTED, EVEN THEN ???
on a final note, does cents enhance gameplay? answer no! they dont seem to give any real advantage, i started on 4th days after startup and am in the top50.
I'm bummed because I spent the $30 to get the $50 but waited a day or two too long and I don't get the bonus. And the $30 was gone in less than a day. No more money from me!
The game is too expensive. But if they reduce the price, then the lag issue would of course never improve.
But that is not the users problem and the price should be far far lower. 1:1 currency exchange at the minimum would at least not make people feel like they are being fooled.
I have spent over $30 in my first week. In $10 here, $5 there. When I signed it was $50 prize for first spend over $30 and then it appeared to change.
If I do not get the $50 prize (it may be a day or two away), then I will spend not a penny more. End of story. If I do, well, I will tell all my friends.
Hi all, sorry, but couldnt be bothered reading all the posts in this topic.......lol
is there any other way of getting coins without having to buy them?
I live in NZ, so its roughly double my money in relation to us currency....and thats way to expensive for me...lol
Well, business model and income streams aside, I actually really really like that spending cash doesn't equate to a noticeable advantage.
As someone who can't afford to drop money into the bottomless pit of a browser game. I like that I will not be at a serious disadvantage because I don't have 20 UKP a week to spend on a browser game.
As for the accusation that you should get extra coins if the exchange rate changes I have to say that I don't see why at all. When you bought them they were at a 10:1 exchange rate. If that changes then you shouldn't get anything (unless the devs have the exchange the wrong way around and intended it to be 1:10, which makes a little more sense and is more consistent with other browser games I've played). You wouldn't go to the Post Office (for example) and demand that they give you more US dollars because the exchange rate changed in the week since you bought them. You wouldn't go to Game and demand a partial refund because they lowered the price of a game you bought a week ago. Why would you demand that you get more coins from this game just because the price changes after you paid and recieved your coins?
I am quite happy for the bonus for spending real money to be tiny though. I'd like this to be a game where I can actually compete.
I'm going to be perfectly honest here. I find it quite sad that the administration is charging these absurd prices for game coins in a time of recession where people need to make their money stretch that bit further, need to find employment (or maintain their job somehow) and generally have a lower living standard. Then there are the people who actually pay the ridiculous price for game currency. Why? It's a game! If it's something like a 2-month subscription for $8.99 that's understandable, but when you spend all this money just to get a ridiculously small amount of money which will be gone within about two minutes that is to be blunt, idiotic.
would be better if there was a way to aquire game coins in the game...as in an exchange for other items
You can gain it by doing quests or with the Aries Amulet. It kind of makes buying them with real money kind of pointless when there are alternatives.
