Mixed Stat troop attacks
I have looked for this answer and have yet to find it..... forgive me if it has been answered previously.....
Does the tech of the city where the troops were built affect attacks or where the troops were sent from.......?
Example....
I have citys with low level barracks and academys for making just warriors and archers....
If I make 50k archers in a city with a level 4 academy ( no medicine or high level techs) and another 50k archers with a lv 9 acadamy then send those troops to another city where I will be launching the attack from(lv 9 academy)......does the game know half my archers are weaker?
Same with warriors.........
I have 2 citys with 25 lv 1 barracks for cranking out warriors........but never attack from that city........ are they super whimpy warriors without acadamy upgrades?
My curiosity is when taking a lv10 npc.........and sending multiple waves of 20k archer and 20k warrior.........are they mixed stat waves because some of the troops were originally created in weak citys.........?
Thanx 4 your time.....

The archers aren't trained w/ the current stats, the stats they take into combat are based on the techs of the city you are attackin' from. Therefore, havin' a military base w/ no techs to create armies shouldn't be an issue, as long as you send the army out to attack from the city w/ all the techs.

Thnx for the quick reply dark....... gave ya some rep :D

that sounds weird darkbrady. Since an archer could be moved to a town with no tech at all, but the archer doesnt just disappear cause it no longer has tech in the town..
I would've thought tech would be global for all units that have been created.
But if a person wants to share techs to all towns, all one has to do is create an academy.

Th mechanics of it sound weird, or the way I worded it?
May have been able to word it better.
The archer bviously doesn't vanish if he goes to a town w/ barracks below lv4 or anythin', but if he goes to a town w/ no military tradition, his attack will drop accordingly.
