Honestly it wasn't your fault and I have to say that girl sounds a bit... unreasonable to just automatically assume that it was a proposal for her, and that you went to all the lengths to have the screen turn to some other girl (or deliberately take her to a game where you would somehow know this was going to occur) just to make her feel bad. I don't know anyone who would ever go that far just to pull a joke on someone. It seems beyond ridiculous.

Depends entirely on the subject matter.

You will rarely see a woman fly off the handle because a football team didn't score the winning touchdown.

Women tend to get emotional more often I believe. But I think men, while they do it less often, tend to get emotional to more extremes.

Women are likely to scream and yell, but generally they do not punch holes in the walls or break down doors.
