---Seems to me it's a topic that is being discussed still, so if I go back to an earlier thread and it gets bumped oh well. See, starting a thread which has a subject that's been discussed already (AKA beating a dead horse) is more offensive to a larger percent, almost as much as OT replies. Archery 07 / HBR 07 (Massive losses due to being in tower range, confirmed by Countryrazorback)

Until your archery reaches 8 and HBR 5, I suggest you stick with NPCs lvl 4 and under. :)

he better keep farming lvl2 and 3 npc cus today I send 250 ballista with 250 transporter and my archery lvl was 7 and hbr lvl5 (upgrading archery to 8 now) well I attacked this lvl 4 npc and won the battle but lost 17 ballista

I usually send 590 bal and 600+ trans. Attack hero with 90+ stat should do this ok. I have archery lv10 and hbr lv7 i think. This shouldn't give any losses. If you want proof:

This always works for me. Hope it works for you too. Also, send like 100 workers for the ride and your hero should get more XP. Go to rally spot med camp afterwards to recover 10% or 40% (depends if you have honor, I have over 200k off of defense one time).
