In defense, as long as I have the 5k range, archers and towers will do a significant job against cavalry. Especialy if I have counter cavalry. That stops your cav so my archers and towers can hit them again and again.

Obviously, you don't know much. Either warrior do damage the abatis or 2 cavalry become UBER strong and wipe out 25 of them when they fight with warriors.

I am going with the later that abatis attack the warrior for some reason when paired with cavalry. I've done this on multiple occasions with about 100+ attacks a day with these mini spams.

So to answer you, I ABSOLUTELY know they damage abatis when paired cavalry/warriors. The lower the numbers, the better the % results. Too low yields nothing. It seems to depend on the over all number of defenses. With 3k abatis, about 300 cav and 1k warriors is proportional. reduce the number in half until you find your highest % and keep spamming.

Welcome to the new generation of attacks, where low attacks that lose are more effective than one giant attack that destroys everything. That way was the past. Keep up or be left behind.

I ALSO know that cav/warrior spams will damage defensive cavalry/cataphracts.

Send cav/archers versus traps/abatis and cav wil be killed in a greater number. If no cav, pikemen die. If no pikemen, archers die. Been playing a long time and adapt to the changes. I'm on server 3 and been playing since the first month of Beta. Yes this does work, do it for yourself.

as somebody who enjoys having a lot of cavalry around (chhhhaaarrrgee!) i can tell you that 2k abatis is sweet **** all.

when i get attacked people never send cavalry

that's probably because they're noobs who don't like to lower loyalty to 0.

edit-for me attacking ppl isn't aboot resources. it's aboot getting you to join, teleport, or die. imo the loss never exceeds the gain if i can do one of those 3 thangs.
