I have to agree, that was not a good joke. Joking about the slaughter of any race is not funny.
However joking about the death of a person in a freak accident is. About 10 yrs ago there was this story in the paper that made me laugh when I read it, and it still makes me laugh when I think about it. So since I do not have the article itself, I will do my best to tell the story.
There was this gentleman that lived in a highrise, every day he would go for a run up the stairs with headphones on (The type of headphones that have the radio in them). On his run up the stairs one day he heard shouts for help. He went to investigate and found the elevator was stuck between the floors with people in it. He tried to help them out of the elevator. He got partway in and was trying to help people out of the elevator when it started to move again. The elevator decapitated him, his head rolled into the elevator with the headphones still playing.
Now at this point I couldn't help but laugh so hard I almost came to tears when I was reading the article. Because all I could picture is the guys head sitting on the elevator floor, staring at the people in the elevator with some song like "I'm too sexy" or something playing on the radio. Yeah, I know a sick sense of humor, but you have to admit, it's funny.
