im sure there are tons of aliens out there.. question is .. do you think they are more complex than fungi and single celled organisms ...
That was not the question, that would be if their is Intelligent life out there, and as far as we know, there is none on this planet
The universe is just too big for us to have all to ourselves, aliens MUST exist.
I wonder how you can call them aliens, they are only aliens if they come here. But as it has been argued, it is highly unlikely we are being visited by aliens, but the majority agree they exist.
So, we would be the aliens if we found them then wouldn't we?
Well as far as the arguement aliens could be real goes, yes they very well could be. It's also possible that these super-advanced beings really have nothing better to do than come to Earth, probe humans, abduct our cows and sheep, and flatten our crops for reasons far beyond our comprehension.
On the subject of flat out are they real though, I've never actually seen any conclusive evidence that they are without a doubt real (yes there are "eyewitness accounts" but there are also eyewitness accounts to Elvis, Mermaids, and Santa Claus), so as far as your poll goes I'm voting no.
Overall I don't think there actually are aliens out there, but I won't rule the idea out altogether. Other than mars and Earth I don't think there's ever been evidence that a planet can even support any type of life form so it's not exactly reasonable to assume there are life forms on them. If there are, they clearly seem to be either a) more interested in government conspiracies and our livestock than anything, or b) not interested or intelligent enough to make contact with us.
I won't say it's impossible that they exist, just not too probable with what we currently know.
"Have you ever noticed that all instruments seeking intelligent life in the universe are pointed away from Earth?"
