Taunting Ex

I need opinions on this, guys/gals.


After a few weeks of annoying text messages and phone calls, I finally gave in and went on dates with this guy. :P Then he asked me out!!! >.<

So yeah, we were boyfriend and girlfriend. Like for only a week! He dumped me for a stupid reason not worth mentioning.

Anyways, that was weeks ago. Now, so I went back to school today and omg, he was like in 5 out of 8 of my class! Not that I mind... really.

But here's the thing... he keeps on taunting me. Even when I'm ignoring him and across the room from him. He wouldn't leave me alone! What annoys me the most is that he tells his friends about me and they just talk nonstop, using my name in almost every sentences coming out of their mouths. Grrr. :mad::mad::mad:

So, I'm wondering... why is he doing that? :confused:

here is my take on the situation -

He asked you out, you said yes (now in his mind he has the greater power in the relationship since he initiated it) then he ended it when he wanted (therefore reinforcing his belief that he was in control). Basically the guys a *Insert expletive* that you should have stayed well away from.

he is telling his friends things about you, to make himself feel good and try to make you feel little. i know its difficult but try not to let it get to you.

i remember back when i was in high school in year 9, my girlfriend dumped me, (new years day :() then we went back to school and everyone was whispering behind my back for weeks. they will stop eventually, its just not nice whilst its happening.

(i did psychology at college :p)

I would try to find out if he is taunting etc, now are you still dating??? Or are you not dating anymore? In that week did you do anything *shifty eyes* that would make it worth him to taunt you about? Is he the kind of person that... so many question

just have to ignore them, and show them it doesnt bother you, if possible get a new guy thats actually nice to you, then show him off as much as you can. jealousy will make him talk more to his friends, but he will look daft since its obvious you arent bothered.

he pulled his weiner out when they were on one of their dates because he wanted her to do *whatever* with it. she, being the non ***** that she is, (that word starts with a "w") tells him to put it away and dumps him.

That's the thing.. I don't know how to find out. I can't go out straight and ask him, he'll just continue to answer my question with another question.

And no, we're not dating anymore. It ended weeks ago.

Oh my, too many questions! o.O But anyways, the only thing I did wrong was shied away from his kisses. That's about it. He broke up with me the very next day.

so he dumped you for not "kissing" him? lol

if he cant appreciate that you arent ready/comfortable with kissing him yet, so he dumps you, just goes to show he was after one thing only. and that cant be mentioned here for numerous reasons.

In all seriousness though, I would say that the best thing you can hope for is one of two things, one you can ignore it, hope it goes away, and hope that what he is saying about you is nothing too... childish.

Or, you can Woman-up, go into beast mode, and walk up to him and go hey can we talk for a moment? Or call him or IM him or whatever, and say "Hey the other day I saw you talking to some people about me, and I heard you laughing a lot, I just want you to know that it made me uncomfortable."

Then again, you could always just stab him in the heart, and hope he's not an alien...

i gta say the stabbing would be a great way of dealing with it.

and ye i suppose making him jealous could have different outcomes, depends on the personality of the new BF and the old...

See no, you guys have it all wrong, you don't go for the stab, that can lead to death and you don't win then. Rather, go into one of your science classes and grab some Hydrochloric acid. Try to get it as concentrated as you can, then spill it on him and laugh at him while he is in pain. MWHAHAHA, then watch as he has to live with chemical burn scars.

flaunting a new BF doesnt work. i tried that Once and ONLY once. DoNOT recomend it

as my husband is constantly reminding me, the hard road is usualy the best raod. if you want it to stop you Have to ignore it. you are only handing him power over you if you react

thats what i did when my GF dumped me + began spreading rumours...

then after they had stopped + she started dating my best friend, she asked if we could still be friends... i dont think i ever had such a shouting spree in my life... she certainly looked shocked, as did the rest of the class...

Ignoring is hard... especially when you have the same classes as the same person you're trying to forget and ignore. :(

oh and rose, you say you have 5/8 lessons. i had ALL lessons with my ex.... i also sat next to her in 3 of those :/ including tutor... which was twice a day...

life was hell for most of january...

Yep, sure are, and to kill a man, this is a secret I am not sure why we are telling you this, all you have to really do is hurt his pride in his social group, kicking him in the jewels is a good example of degradation on front of his own social group, although the flyswatter may be just as degrading...

You know... there's lots of murder cases about all this degradation and pride....

Therefore, shouldn't it be a better idea to avoid doing this to another person?

Well, its a careful balance that you have to walk between taking it too far, and taking it just far enough.

No way. ******s like that are immune to pain, ridicule, and logic. The only thing they REALLY love is their cars. Go and key it, put sugar in the gas tank, smash the headlights, etc. If he doesn't have one (laaaaaame), buy an old frame that's engineless (shouldn't be too hard, a lot of junkyards part them out), make it look reasonably new, give it to him as a makeup gift, then laugh as he tries to start it.
For added fun, cover the wheel in superglue, fill the airbag with cottage cheese, and then remote-detonate it. He'd be sitting in a wreck, covered in cheese for HOURS! Classic....
