lmao. First, we'll gripe if we want to - and some of us want to.
Second, there's some serious problems with this new version, it changes the playing field completely, and they're not talking about it. [medals, for instance]
Third, the makeover was necessary - the graphics they were using simply were not theirs to use. I suspect there will be further revisions down the line.

cant we not have an option in overview to change back to the last graphics?
-
The new graphics are horrible. Ye, please let's get an option in overview to change back to the last graphics.

it's hard to tell the saw mill, from the iron, from the stone buildings..

graphics
The new graphics were needed you just can not have it look like AOE without them fussing. I have to agree that the buildings look too much alike and are hard to tell apart but that will be fixed.
Changes to game play need to have been posted at least after the fact just so we don't have to uncover them ourselves.

I miss my walls
I miss scrolling the tax rate with the up/down arrow
I miss being able to distinguish one building from another
I was a huge fan of AOE and those graphics

cuz it's all bright and looks horrible when compared to what it previously had...not to mention all walls look the same, it doesn't help with the lag and was only done cuz they stole the last graphics from a Microsoft game.
Other than that...I don't understand either
