Segment 1:
And thus, it must end.
As the game wears on, one by one people are evicted, Blades, the host, has no more attacks on him, but you can sense the growing resentment, it grows until you can cut it with a knife.
The last we had seen of bob, the first contestant to fall, was him being taken away by the cops, shouting that "He would return."
And this is his story.
As Bob was taken by the cops, he went quietly fuming into the ambulance, for you see Blades had given him a slight cut on his head. He silently thanked him, for this would make his escape that much easier, and filled him with even more resolve.
As he let the medics fix his cut, he began to plot, began to scheme, began to wonder where his luggage was...
He noticed that although he was cuffed, and even then only by one hand to the cart, there was not a police officer in the vehicle, only the lone medic, with the key on his belt, for some odd reason.
As soon as the medic finished sealing his cut with surgical glue, he lashed out at the medic, punching him in the face. This stunned him long enough for Bob to get the key, and unlock the handcuffs. Bob knew his fight was not with this innocent bystander, so he quietly and quickly knocked the medic out, putting him in the standard sleeper hold.
From here, Bob knew he could do nothing, so he waited until the ambulance stopped. It took time, a long time before the ambulance stopped, but Bob was ready when it did, but he did hope that it was not at the hospital.
He quickly and quietly opened the door, and seeing that he was only at an intersection some miles from the set, he jumped out, and ran like there was no tomorrow, not even bothering to close the door behind him. He only slowed down as he reached the woods lining the road. As he looked back, he cannot understand why the ambulance stopped, there was no traffic light, animal or obstruction in the road, but there was the sound of screaming in the distance, and the driver’s door was open….
This puzzled Bob, so he went back to investigate. As he reached the door, he noticed the driver was missing, but there were prints of a cougar nearby. Deciding that no-one would care if the ambulance was “borrowed”, and the cougar prints were in blood, he closed the rear doors, after securing the medic down, he got back into the drivers seat, closed the door, and began to drive back in the direction he came from. Little did he know that he was heading into trouble….
As he began to drive alone the long, winding road through the middle of the woods, he began to notice strange things, like the emptiness, and the lack of struggling from the back seat, but he ignored this, as he has driven on the roads of Florida, which are the same way, so he began to tune the radio to a decent channel.
As he failed to notice any speed limit signs along the road, he let the needle creep higher and higher, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, finally ending at 130 mph. He really enjoyed letting the throttle open like this, but rarely got the chance. Something about speed limits, and seeing the local cops’ crash into people typically prevented this, but what the heck.
Soon, Bob began to see signs of civilization: the lack of trees, the cookie-cutter homes, and the road was beginning to get straighter, no longer caring about the contours of the land, but slowly, Bob slowed down, the last thing an escapee needs is to be pulled over, and without his wallet no less! Soon, Bob begins to realize that this town was empty, except for the mannequins lining the street, there were mannequins doing every single conceivable task known to any average, suburban, American neighborhood. Soon, a klaxon can be heard in the distance, very faint, but still audible. At thins, Bob’s eyes begin to realize what this means, and looks around for cover, spotting the other common item, an underground bunker! “Yes!” Bob states aloud, “That is exactly what I need”, and hurries toward it, leaving the medic in the back of the ambulance. By the time Bob reach’s the bunker, the hair on the back of his neck has begun to stand up, the tension filling the air, overpowering all other senses…
As soon as Bob shut the door, IT happened, a full scale, nuclear bomb test, just 1 mile for his current location, to say the least, the medic did not make it, just like the rest of the town, but Bob did, the bunker saved him, as he got up, out of the bunker, and saw everything was leveled, and there were no vehicles in sight…
So, Bob began to walk, he did not know where he was walking to, but he knew he was walking toward the sun, hoping it was the right way. Little did he realize what deux ex machina was going to appear in his way…
As Bob, unknowingly walked away from the epicenter of the blast, and began to climb a rise. As he reached its crest, he realized it was a small cliff, hiding a zeppelin! This was a stroke of pure luck, and Bob quickly jumps down to see if she was still airworthy.
As he approached the airship, Bob could tell it was battered, but flyable, with a gondola close to the ground, and an automated docking system, perfect for 1 man to operate. As Bob climbs into the cockpit, he fails to notice the cat watching from the gondola, as it slinks back into the bowels of the ship. Bob climbs into the cockpit, and begins to start the engines, noticing that the controls do not show a fuel tank, but rather a pebble-bed reactor diagram. Happy that he can coast without worrying about the reactor exploding on him, he begins the launching of the ship, and his continuing quest for revenge.
Bob first sets the ship to cruise at a comfortable 2000 feet, and begins to look at the maps, hoping to find where he is, and where his objective is. He soon realizes that he headed in the wrong direction while in the ambulance, and needs to return in that direction, and makes the necessary course corrections, but begins to feel like someone, or something is watching him…. Or is there?
