my school was all about freedom of something. freedom to park in what ever parking lot or space you wanted, freedom to ride the buss and not get picked on for it. no one was allowed to do anything that might not be concidered PC it was awful!! no disaplin, no structure, no sence of sucurity. and as eveidnced by my spelling and grammer, we didnt learn much
does a particle accelorator create more energy than is actually used to operate it?
(stumped high school physics teacher with this one in "03")

I understand enough from physics classes to know that the theory behind fission generators, fusion generators, and particle accelerators says that POTENTIALLY they could create more energy than was used to make them function. On the other hand, I also remember the laws of energy that state energy is never more or less....it simply changes states. So which is it? How do the two reconcile?
(BTW, I have no problem allowing SERIOUS academic questions for debate in this thread, so long as our teacher doesn't object. But please...keep it serious.)

I was a much more mature and smarter kid in G12 than I was in G11. I would advise you to retake because I infer from your question that you suspect you may do better on the test and that you feel your score perhaps is underselling you.
