10% is a ridiculous requirement if a 100k wave can generate a blank battle report. If they are going to impose a minimum damage requirement JUST to make sending 100 warriors useless then the % should be much lower than 10%, like 1%.

hi i am new to this game and am yet to feel the frustration, but I can imagine.
It seems to me that not only the 10 percent rule is flawed but also the troop limit limit of 100k. This should be addressed also. The devs recently recognised a simple fact recently , that for more advanced players the resourse wins on the amulet wheel were a joke. If they can recognise this fact than surely the can recognize that a one size fits all policy for sending out attacks is going to cause severe difficulties which are compounded by the 10 per cent rule. i would say it is not actually the 10 percent rule that is the problem , more the rally point limit.
how would you make the game interesting and maintainable by tweaking how many troops could be deployed per wave?
one simple model springs to mind. wave limit as a fraction or percentage of troop numbers in a city, perhaps the wave number itself may not have the limit but the limit apply to each troop type depending on the number you own. i would imagine another problem that would arise from this implementation , that it would be much easier for massive players to bully and destroy weaker enemies. so perhaps a range would need to be applied. some kind of calculation related to the number of troops you are sending and the prestige of the enemy. i.e high number of troops sent out , target needs to have certain prestige.
Mage i really dont think you ever had 100k anything to attack with otherwise you would know the advantage defense has. I want to you do me a favor find a guy with around 700k + prestige and send 100k of anything at them and see how that goes. did you get a report....... no then well send another 100k did you get a report? no well send in another 100k still nothing???
This is broken please roll it back. Also it be nice if i have 500k archers i can send 500k archers in one wave. Just use up more warbanners. Like 50k per banner. that way evony can get richer and i can actually still kill something.
example 500 wave would cost 8 warbanners. Get it?
Hmm one conclusion.. You will just be feeding him free honor before fully taking him out..
they really just need to fix the mechanics, if you could send 500k archers it'll just be like 500k prestige players bullying 100-200k ones, only anyone could be targeted and unless online suffers an automatic loss (yes you're really going to manage to mess up killing 150k or whatever archers with your 500k), would you really like your towns (well troops at least) gone because you need sleep.
If both parties could be guaranteed online when the fight happens it'd be a whole another story.
Make being offline somewhat like the truce stuff perhaps? but bigger attacks possible to even it out. You can't cancel an incoming attack by going offline but you have to be on to get one launched at you. Would make it easier to bully though, alot!

1) How many cities do you have?
2) How many barracks in total?
3) How many cities do you have, that run NEGATIVE 5 million food/hr, 24/7?
4) How many times have you sent OVER 600,000 troops into a single combat in this game?
