When you spend $30 on the game, you are purchasing game cents. 300, to be exact.
So you have just purchased 300 game cents. You've spent 30 dollars.
Now, what can you do with those game cents? Why, you can purchase items in-game with them. Sure.
Now, with this same scenario, let us say that you really want an item. Say, a Master Guideline. It costs 80 game cents. That = $8.
So you spend the 80 game cents to get your Master Guideline. Now you have 220 game cents to buy other things, and a Master Guideline. Total value of your account is 300 game cents, or $30.
Now comes a "Redux/Bonus" package. For the sake of discussion, let's say that it contains nothing more than a Master Guideline.
So you spend the $30 to buy 300 game cents, but it comes with the Master Guideline as a bonus. They call it "free".
Well, guess what...You just spent $30 to get 300 game cents, and also got a free Master Guideline, woth 80 game cents, or $8.
Now your account value is $38 dollars. You only spent $30, but the account is now worth $38. You got $8 for free. FREE. FREE.
This concept is not difficult. It is only people who wish to make a mountain out of a molehill that causes all this baseless and useless kvetching.
Face it. What would you rather do? Spend $30 and get $30 worth of stuff, or spend $30 and get $80 worth of stuff? $80-$30=$50 worth of "free" stuff.
FREE. Yes, FREE. Deal with it.
