it isnt entirely useless...still lets you know HOW MANY units are in the city. now it is a matter of adjusting army forcres to deal with the new changes to Rockfall. Rockfall is the only thing affecting Barb Assaults now since it ACTUALLY does its job against mechanical devices. So to call this guide useless is jumping the gun a lil.

level 0 barbarian? what? you must be thinking of valleys, and the numbers for attacking those would depend i'd imagine. this table is for NPC CITIES

There is a level 0 NPC city near one of my cities. The stats from a scout of the city make it appear that it is a level 1 NPC city, but I'm not attacking it for fear that the "0" means "10" when it comes to defenses, when extra defenses automagically appear.

0 is just like a 1, defenses and everything are the same. Just some sort of bug introduced after beta, probably when they began cleaning up inactives.

yeah but how do you get them to each other in reasonable time? or do you just send your warriors to attack the city from where they are?

Thanks for the table dude, anyone wanting to ask questions on server 3 chat to Saunter, I've taken a L10 and they are worth the hassle and losses, as for the rest you can do atts without any loses on these cities and make pure profit.. and also make whatever level you like right close and handy

NPC lvl.4 : 180 ballistas no losses
NPC lvl.5 : 480 ballistas no losses

NPC lvl.6 :
1st trial with 4000 ballistas, loss 343

I'm guessing that the initial math is a little off from the OP. I've read through most of this thread and seen quite a discussion brewing over lvl 5's. What about lvl 4's with no losses? I've got lvl 7 archery and lvl5 HB riding.

Also, when does Military Tradition come into play? Or should I already be worried about upgrading that to higher? I think I'm at a 5 or 6 in that.

That aside it is indeed possible to attack a lvl 5 barbarian city (or any level really) and do so with as few as 0 losses. You just haven't figured it out yet.

Are you trying to say he meant to reduce the restriction of his troops?

That's probably why you run into it a lot; check more definitions, or just become familiar with the word's common usage ;-)

Barb city has a lot of defence, especially level 5 no matter what combination of units u send, the best one is archer+ meat shield, the ammount of archers send does NOT lower the losses, i tried every combination..

U WILL lose 1-2 k archers and 40% of ur meat shield on a raid on barb level 5 or higher.

You try mixing in siege weapons to your equation? All I see you talking about are units for killing units, but that'll leave the traps and such up to kill your men.

i have taken a lvl 10 npc city, you have to have enough troops, and helps alot if you have an alliance to help you out. but its quite easy and can be managed all within a minute if you time your attacks right. search for lvl 10 npc conquer you will find alot about it. good luck.
