Guerrilla Warfare in Evony

What is the meaning of this???

Absolutely brilliant idea.;) The perfect way to deal with the cowards that gang together in alliances like packs of slavering dogs.:p

So... surprised no one has come up with this idea yet but what happens when you run into someone with privateering?

Then they just set up shop 1 mi away from your only city, sit there and attack you constantly (and there goes all your comforting food) until you have no loyalty, no resources, and no population.

doesn't the attacker's privateering only drop the effectiveness of the defender's warehouse by 3% per level?

Now the question is: is there an effective counter strategy against this guerrilla warfare? if a weak player with 1 single wants to pest a larger alliance for revenge or out of spite, that's fine. But this strategy is being used, as I have observed, by top players (over 1mil pres.) to nibble alliances as big as those they are in themselves, almost single-handedly and the attacked alliances have no effective way of repelling these guys other than throwing a lot of troops at them, but because of the warehouse tactics, the end result was never satisfactory. Any ideas other than reciprocating in their homeland with the same tactics? Alliance wars have come down to kids fight in a way :-) (basically, top players drop in to beat down upon small weak members of opposing alliance)

Because the small weak member's 20k archers can repulse the big alliances 1m. I'm not advocating 'gueriilla warefare' it just tends to tick off people.

Some players attempt to offer tribute to the guerrilla warrior. The guerrilla warrior may then focus thier attention to one of your comepditors and stop harrassing your towns/campaigns.

What I like are the long posts by, presumably, end-gamer type players about how this is a loser tactic that will just make the person small and self-loathing, and how it is actually completely ineffective and 'good' players don't get bothered by it anyway.

So...if that's the case, why even say anything at all? ;)
