Mm.
"You don't want to be looking back 20 years down the road and going "No, seriously, Spongehead was really popular back then!"
If you're going to insist on getting one, though, then you should probably make it something you like and probably will continue to like for a long time (considering that's how long the tattoo's going to last).
I might suggest you sort of do what drizz did-- get a general idea of what you want, and then google it and find some designs you like and then talk them over with the artist and try and figure out the best one and the best way to make it work. Lots of tattoo sites have lots of different designs so even if you're not sure what you want it could give you an idea. It's a place to start anyway.
I'm getting a tattoo also. Well, actually three.
On my right shoulder will be the Greek letter Omega.
On my left shoulder will be the Greek letter Alpha.
And on my back will be the Greek letter Delta.
I've got my first tattoo in mind, but I plan on getting many more.
Hell, my own mother has got 20 something, on of which is a tiger ripping out of her thigh. That one is neat, and probably the one that told me "You should get a tattoo."
All in all, I want a dragon down my right arm, and a battle axe across my back. Just to start.
QUOTE=drizztix;490408]the duration of the tattoo is dependent upon the artists .. i have had some that are slow as hell i have had others that are super fast..[/QUOTE]
this is what im having put onto my back-http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_vtyo4Tlz_k...ree+tattoo.jpg
kk thx, im havin it done on tuesday, well started on tuesday
I have gone back and forth for years on if I should get a tattoo or not. I love to draw so I would probably use something that I created. I just can never decide for certain what I would want. It would have to be something with meaning though.
http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_vtyo4Tlz_k...ree+tattoo.jpg
does it have a meaning?
no not really, but then again, it does
only reason im getting it is, growing up, all i ever drawn was dragons, plus the skull is a smybol of death and despair
i've always been a dragon fan, now i'll have the proof im a dragon fan
Me too. I'd never get a tat.
Yep, yep. True. Listen to him.
I bet you will regret it later in your life, hehe. That is one of the reason I'd never get one.
And as for the name tats, no matter how much you think you love the person ATM, chances are you won't even end up with them in the end.. unless you're in your 20s & are serious. Well whatever, I can't talk for anyone else
Wth... You're sick.
whats wrong with tattoos? alots of people got them
So, in other words, you follow the sort of belief that "Your body is a temple."
Guess what? Some people aren't religious.
That was a joke by the way.
In all seriousness, getting something written on your skin is no laughing matter, but neither is it anything to bash. It's a difficult decision to make, and you should show respect for those that have made such a difficult decision, or are planning on it.
You should NOT come to a thread about tattoos just to say how "gross" or "nasty" or whatever you find them. If someone decides to get a tattoo, be supportive. Trying to disuade someone from an intended course of action is far more likely to result in them going "Screw you, I'm going to do it just because you say I shouldn't."
Show some support, be there for them, maybe they'll chicken out.
I de-railed myself... back to what I was saying:
If you're not going to say anything but negative stuff about tattoos, you can leave this thread right now, because all you'll be doing is trolling.
im really not a fan of tattoes personally :-/
eventually you'll regret them
ok then. i'll go away.
on my 199th post xD
I wouldn't say that Miza's post as negative. I'd say that she's just expression her own opinion about tattoos. Woody's posts however, I'd put it as what Storm guy says. Woody strongly expresses that how tattoos are this and that.. blah blah blah.
