I personally think the problem of follow up will be solved with more staff, it is also my belief that with age2 there will be more staff.

For a site of 37k active people, there needs to be more moderators. Not a huge amount, but more than we have right now.
Double post, I know. Too many people are too happy to keep the derailed and twisted version of this discussion going, however it is no longer about what the title is.
So please, bring some suggestions to the table here, offer up something that can positively effect the community and help us to be more of a community.
Well... this one gets points for the analogy of the month. Doesn't HODS collect those too?
Like I pointed out in the other thread, this game and forum are just six months old. And as much as I believe the game to still be a "work in progress", so I think the community is itself pretty much a "newborn" that will change as it grows.
To be sure, the game and it's developers and administrators still have a ways to go. No argument.
But I WILL say this:
As far as tolerance is concerned, the Reps and Moderators could teach a lot of us a thing or two.
As I've stated on some other thread before, that DAWNSEEKER is even still around after all the crap he took for the past six months is beyond my ability to comprehend. And that's to name just one!!!
I submit to you that, as the community continues to grow, and hopefully becomes more internationalized, TOLERANCE will become it's greatest challenge.
As I so love to say this next phrase, I jump at the opportunity... again.
DON'T SAY YOU WEREN'T WARNED.
................................... I was told to come back here, and well.... I'm back. This doesn't mean the past will just vanish with me, I still have my thoughts on certain aspects........ but perhaps some will see what I've been saying for a long time now.....
Oh, and don't say anything about it only being a day. I was planning on longer, but I can't forsee every event and exactly when it will occur. I mean my ability to predict things does have limitations.
I have three suggestions for ingame;
1. Turn off World Chat, it is a playground for the sick and depraved.
2. Block anyone who sends inapropriate messages to you.
3. Make sure that you are in an alliance that keeps the chat nice and stay in Alliance Chat.
1) yes I agree who it is a playground for, I think this will change when they get around to instituting in game mods.
2) there are ways around the block and those intent on harassing will find those ways. Also, once in game mods are instituted this won't be as much of a problem. Although still a good suggestion that most people don't follow.
3) excellent suggestion as there is are all kinds of alliances on each server to fit anyone.
