I always like the story of Prometheus. How he stole fire from Zeus and gave it to mankind. How, as punishment, Zeus ordered him to be chained to mountain where a great eagle tore his liver out each and every day.

I know he isn't a 'god', but a Titan... but he's still my favorite.

zeus cursed him he wasnt a titan atm all titans were dead ,inprisoned in tarturus, or beeing punished individualy like atlas

I have read dozens of books about greek mythology, gods and goddesses. I have to agree, I have never heard that either.
