it would be greatly appreciated if someone would please send me a code! i've been looking all over for one and it's tiring! thanks sooo much!
What the heck are you talking about? 515 ballista? 397 xports?
Again, I fail to understand what you are getting at. I was saying that a months prep for this would easily accomplish the necessary xp to a hero in order to get them to a reasonable attack level for attempting a clearing wave on a lvl 10.Quote:
If u see stats for eg., 2x cav will look slightly better than 1x cataphract. But, you can send 125k cataphract and not 2x 125k cav in a single wave. Likewise, a ballista is worth several archers which will bring down the losses in wave one to a bare minimum. and a month's preparation time requirement for this is lol, tbh.
Yes, I read that post and refrained from replying because to me I think the idea, though mildly feasible, is impractical and logistically fraught with potential disaster.Quote:
And, I have tried doing this twice as explained in another post 'How to setup a forward base without adv. teleport' The major issues I noticed are -
1. You need roughly 40 heroes and about 4-5 towns.
2. The timing calculation (incl. camp time) should be very accurate. If that fails even slightly, losses will climb exponentially.
3. The 100k spearhead wave suffers massive loss of archers and losses incurred due to point #2 can vary with player on how effectively it is handled.
4. Medals? Don't expect more than 2.
As for your points:
1) I've already stated the need for over 40 waves and 5 towns, so yes, one should easily deduce that you need a hero to lead each wave. This is plainly obvious.
2) The timing requires precision. This has already been stated previously.
3) The clearing wave will always suffer massive losses of archers. Again, plainly obvious.
4) I've stated previously that my objective for taking down a lvl10 NPC is to cap, not medal farm. So again, I fail to understand why you are rehashing this?
I'll say this: I don't know of any successful player on server 1, who is engaged in the capture of lvl 10 barbarian towns, that uses your method or any method even remotely similar. Everyone who has sought my advice on taking down a lvl 10 agrees that the method of using archers and warriors only, launched from multiple cities, timed with precision, is a superior method.Quote:
Every method has it's pros and cons. There are several factors that need to be considered before we conclude on that. Btw, I have already mentioned clearly what I meant by 'Complete Reference'.
I have given my opinions and what information I can. I don't disagree that your method has viability. However, I disagree on the expedience and efficiencies of such a method. I've tried it myself, and I've tried other methods. I'm simply telling those who read posts such as this one, seeking the most effective and resourceful method, the honest truth from a -very- experienced player.
Again I say, the ballista method will work and is a viable method. Do your own research, and use what works best for your situation.
