Analogy Thingy:
People can kick you off their property.
Evony can kick you off their site.
Simple as that. It's their site, and they can do what they want. They can close threads, delete threads, ban people, and all the like. Why? Because they can.

Communism is NOT a form of government. It is a type of economy.
In which the government controls all industry. The government is totalitarian most of the time, but once in a while there are a few places where the governement is very nice and things actually work out.
This was one of those threads I said that was already there.
It's not against any rules to post it, but can be considered a waste of a thread seein' as there are at least two other threads coverin' the subject.
More on-topic, I read the articles and don't exactly consider Evony to hate free speech for suein' this guy...that was as much free speech as me accusin' you of murder and attackin' you and your family because of my unfounded accusation. Would that be free speech or jus' me goin' off on one?
Pretty sure I'd wind up in court on handcuffs, despite how much I claimed I was jus' "free speechin'"...
While I won't make any comments on the thirteen1 article, there is an awful lot of bandying about of the term "free speech". Way back in school I heard a statement on this that I think pretty much sums up not only the right to free speech, but all other "rights" as well:
"The right to swing my fist ends where the other man's nose begins." -Oliver Wendell Holmes
Gentlemen, the cavalry have arrived, carrying a sizable banhammer and locker. Ta ta!
*Gets on horse and gallops away*
Here is something I agree with.Quote:
Free speech is a concept difficult to implement though, because there are things that will offend people, and to allow them to say it is to offend a large number of people, and as such, those people demand it not be allowed to say. Which is censoring speech.
Idk about that. I think it really comes down to this:
Sure, he's excercisin' his right for free speech, but he's not really jus' chattin' away and happenin' to mention his distate for the game..he's openly and quite furiously attackin' it. He's not introducin' any other side or potential defence openin' for Evony, jus' ravin' away his aggression and in such a way that will put people off the game. Then the fact that he's makin' accusations which have been given no backup behind it...
That's little short of a verbal (in writin'!) attack on Evony...Evony's nose has been thoroughly punched in this case.
