I have not completed the OTD constitution but will complete it later today after I have finished all my undergraduate college courses for today. I will send the complete work to either Joemanf or StormSurge through e-mail. However, I will provide a general framework of what I am currently working with:
There will be a three tier system. Tier I consists of the executive head which is the Triumvirate. "Triumvir" shall be the general term whilst "Citizen-Consul" will be the official title or appellation of each triumvir. Tier II is the Oligarchy; its members or oligarchs are a select few based on certain qualities decided by the triumvirs of Tier I. The chief magistrate and the presiding individual of Tier II or the oligarchic body is the Archon. I have been granted the official position as Archon or the Chief/Premier Magistrate of the Oligarchy, or in essence the head of Tier II. I mediate between the triumvirs of Tier I and the oligarchs of Tier II in times of crisis and/or debate as well as having the power of announcing the promulgations and decrees of the triumvirs of Tier I. Also, I initiate and moderate discussion of the Oligarchy [Tier II] as "Archon of the Oligarchy". Finally, Tier III is composed of everyone else or the regular citizens of this government. Both Tier I and Tier II members are granted the social rank of patrician or of noble class whilst Tier III being the majority is to be composed solely of the plebeians or that of commoner/private citizen.
[This OTD government was inspired by such historical events and factors: 1. The three tier system was partly influenced by the Three Estate system utilized by the French monarchy of a tripartite socio-political division; 2. The concept of a triumvirate arose out of the two Roman triumvirates as well as the French Triumvirate that arose out of the fall of the Executive Directory: 1795-1799 C.E through the coup of 18th Brumaire. The French Triumvirate lasted from 1799-1804 C.E; 3. The position of Archon arose out of Athenian politics with the Archon being the executive head chosen from the Areopagus, the Boule being the judicial system and the Ekklesia being the common assembly as the legislative system. Remember, Athens was not always a democratic institution. A four social class system was created by Solon; a tyranny [in the Grecian sense of the word] was established by Peisistratus; Cleisthenes, Ephialtes and Pericles created a truly populist or direct democracy in Athens; after the fall of Athens in 404 B.C.E, a pro-Spartan oligarchy was established until its removal by the strategus Thrasybulus, etc; and 4. The division of patrician and plebeian came from the early Roman Republican era. [There were additional stratifications within the political system such as the equites or the wealthy landowners and businessmen, recently Romanized individuals [of colony status but part of the Roman state], non-Romanized individuals of colony status, etc.
[The official version of the constitution will be published soon after the end of the elections after any such revisions are requested of me by the triumvirs.]
