fanbois? Where??? Most of waht I have seen around here is crybabies, freefers.
Aaaaaand it begins.
Right, time for me to do everythin' that gets you callin' me names, it seems.
a/ "They suggest that it is possible to go up the ranks without paying the exorbitant prices they charge for medals yet the proof is that it is not possible."
The proof is that it is possible. There are people, even on newer servers, who are Furstin/Prinzessin and not paid a thing. If you wanna be lazy about it and farm once or twice a day it still is possible, but long. Where exactly is your proof that it's not possible?
b/ The forums are actually haunted by trolls and haters...you might wanna read the first few pages of this thread where we discuss how few people actually step up and say that they like the game and don't think it needs transformed. Granted, everyone wants improvements, but the game doesn't need transformed completely.
c/ Who picks apart every suggestion that actually has merit? I urge you to read this thread on anti-exploits and pro-nerfs in the suggestion box. It is the thread w/ about the most merit one can write here and has plenty of people backin' it up, as well as trollin' it and disagreein'. Fact is that it's a discussion, not a bunch of fanboi's belittlin' it. In fact, yu may notice that most of the "fanbois" actually agree w/ it.
d/ We need some people to keep positive attitudes. There's constructive criticism and suggestions and then there's jus' hatin' the game all the time. People can be constructive and positive; you seem to think that positive means "omg i lubs it; neva change pls". Most of the people who like the game currently would like to see various improvements, as it happens.
e/ Everyone dares the challenge the devs to fix the broken issues. Like the game or not, everyone accepts that there are broken parts (like all games) and everyone wants them fixed. I have no idea where you get that claim from. Seems to be yet another one of these random thoughts you toss off as a fact.
f/ Who's on a high horse? If you actually read anythin' I said before now you should be well aware that everyone is bandin' together and tryin' to improve the game in one way or another. Jus' that certain positive people are bein' both constructive and realistic, while certain negative people jus' wanna complain and trashtalk, demandin' change.
We more or less all have the same goal...some people are jus' a bit too strung up on how much they hate the game currently to actually kick back and enjoy it, while others like the game as it is currently, enjoy playin' it, and are also aimin' for improvements. Which side are you on? Thas been made pretty clear by your post I think I'd have to say. Try lookin' at things from our point of view (or hell; actually readin' the thread before your post) and see what it's like on the other side of the fence before you post. Who knows...you might like it.
I cannae ken all the folk that get up in arms about havin' to join an Alliance to survive the first portion of the game...I think gettin' a good, active alliance is all the fun of the game.
Right now we're at war w/ someone and everyone jus' gettin prepared, gettin' all our troops in line and havin' a laugh while we're decidin' how to rip apart our enemy....thas where all the fun comes from, imo. I don't see myself sittin' on a 2mil archer army farmin' all day anytime too soon...I've been sendin' out attacks, reinforcin' and gettin' ready for the front lines nigh every day; it's kept me hella occupied and I'm not even nearly matchin' up to the heavy hitters in my alliance. I'm lookin' forward to advancin' 'cuz I know we have this fast-paced, light hearted attitude here.
Not true. I didn't pay a single dime and didn't get Medal Boxes on Amulet Spins and I am 10 Justice Medals away from the last Title :). Don't blame the developers if your not good at the game. Or if you don't know how to Play or just lazy at it. Better inform yourself from Forum or other Places before you speak.
As for the "broken issues"... Depends how you look at it. I saw lots of crap suggestions and their emmiters thought they were cool, but I would've shoot them if their decisions ever got implemented in the Game :D.
Yes there are some issues but not as some see them. Attackers want Wall Range Bonuses reduced to almost making deffencess worthless (why would anyone spend 2.000 Wood x 15.000 + 1.000 Stone x 15.000 + 500 Iron x 15.000 on 15k Archer Towers = 30.000.000 Wood\15.000.000 Stone\7.500.000 Iron if they couldn't take out 50k Archers with them which cost actualy 17.500.000 Wood\15.000.000 Iron\15.000.000 Food?). Others want Players that are Strong and developed to be forbidden to attack lower ones. Not to mention many other contradictory issues and ideas.
So what do you mean by "Get the game fixed"? For all that I know your ideas can be turning this Game into a SimCity and building one rather then a War Game as it should be. I've seen many Player Suggestions that Army should be limited by the Farms you keep in your cities and not be able to NPC farm food for large armies, etc. And other such ideas that would totaly destroy the Game and make it SimCity and Noob-Game.
It's good that such suggestions are not taken into consideration :D.
I guess you can see it however you want.
I can remember a time when the greatest complaint was that the developers had ruined the game because they listened to the 'carebear' players and changed the defensive system, making high end battles 'impossible'.
In fact almost every change has come with a fair dose of criticism along the way and a fair bit of community debate.
One of my first posts on these forums was a battle report to show that it was indeed possible to defeat a player with over 10k archer towers and some 30k archers. It sounds like a minor thing now but at the time the forums were full of posts about how this kind of defence was unbeatable/gamebreaking.
Time passes, people still play. Some drift away, others replace them. It's only a game after all. If you don't like it there is nothing forcing you to play anymore.
If, on the other hand you are like the OP and are enjoying the game as it is, good luck to you, but keep in mind that there will probably be more changes to come in the future. That is the nature of MMO's. Try not to get too upset by the changes and focus on finding out what you need to do differently to keep playing well.
I'm no fanboi. In fact I have often raised issues and asked some questions that I am sure the moderators would have preffered not to have seen. I have also tried to be a contibutor, either in the help and questions section or in the game and forums suggestion sections.
In the end it's your choice. No-one forces you to play.
Very many of us like the game, and I say it's awesome, I've joined an alliance and they've set me up with a large amount of resources to help me get up my walls and other stuff.
Sorry but I have to call you out on your statement. The only way what you claim is true with regards to medals is if you reside on one of the older servers. There is no way unless you have completed several 1000 medal raids over the course of several months. You only get beyond the first few promotions by buying the medals. I know this because I have an entire alliance that builds multiple NPC's every single day and then farming those same npc's everyday and only a small number of us have even seen an honor medal drop. And if honor medal drop rates weren't bad enough now it appears that they have adjusted the justice medal drop rate too. Several of us have been farming level 10 npc's and all I have heard drop so far is nation medals.
So yeah I am calling you out.
I'll jus' call you out on that...

Jus' because you have bad luck doesnae mean everyone does. There are countless people who have reached Furstin/Prinzessin on newer servers who've not spent any money or recieved any medal boxes. And until you can irrefutably prove that no single person has achieved that, you don't get to claim that it's impossible. Hard, sure...long, maybe. So what? It happens...a lot.
You're basically jus' sayin' that everyone who's said they've achieved this in less than several months is jus' lyin' to everyone...now that may be true for some, but everyone? You better have a lot of backup to make that kinda accusation, champ.
I Play on the newest world w26. Check there and see :D. What you say is childish it's like someone saying "Chineese don't exist" because he didn't see them in his life. Or like a blind man saying "there's no light" because he can't see.
Justice Medals drop fair enough from lv10s but if you're lazy and send only a Plundering attack of course you get less chances to aquire them. When I farm for Justice Meds I set for NPC lv10 Capture. That means after Main Attack I send many others even time them 6 mins apart. I always get in 1h at least 3 Justice Medals. If I prolongue this to 3h, without conquering the NPC (waiting some time when loyalty drops low so I don't conquer it), I get 10 Justice with no problem.
I also get Honor Medals fair enough from lv3-4 NPCs. It's just that I don't farm that low lv NPCs anymore because I don't need to.
But if you set off with 1-3 Heroes and complain you get nothing that's your bloody fault not the Game developer's. I always set 8 Attacks at once per City for Medal Farming. Needless to say I have hundreds of Courage, Wisdom, Freedom and so on. In 8 Attacks I always get at least 3 Medal Drops. If I multiply with the amount of cities I attack from the number of Medals raises drasticaly.
So stop whining already. If you'd spend the time sending out Attacks on Valleys/NPCs and so instead of complaining your chances will increase a lot :D.
