Obama does give a lot of speech's to get out there and try to promote that we all cooperate and help each other. And god forbid he tell the nation's youth to stay in school! (You know what I'm talking about) Let us not forget that Obama was a politician long before he was president and was doing stuff since then. He has even written two books! (Before he was president) and it might not seem like it with know the media is but Obama is genuinely trying to help everyone, it's just a little hard when the House doesn't like anything that might hurt their paychecks.

Some people lack the ability to think when they are blinded by hatred, and yes, looking from all the argument on here, a lot of people do need more schooling.

Barack Obama is the only person who actually CAN make a change. Not being disrespectful to any of the others, but what can they do?

One of the main reasons for the Nobel comittee to award Obama was his speech in Prague earlier this year.

It's funny though. It seems that the world is happier with Obama as the Americans.

Oh and Alex, I really have to correct you, while you Americans think that England is the most hated country in the world, America will never leave that number 1 spot.

I knew the red part. second by making a speech does nothing sorry to say. When you do something it is important. Actions speech louder then words. When he does what he says he was going to do, everything that he said to America when he tried to be president, then I might take notice to the prize. Right now he has done nothing, messed up the used car dealerships. Make a few speeches, tried to fix health care when the country is in an uproar over. when he does something worth while then i will care, but now he hasn't done anything. One speech shouldn't get him the peace prize. Anyone read the articles I posted?

I know i'm on a very thin line at the moment, but the uproar that has risen in America is one of the dumbest things ever. By a million lightyears.

Finally you get someone who wants a healthcare system for all citizens and white middleclass America.... oh wait.... Ahhhhhhh... I'm getting it....

I want to say a survey was done somewhere recently, and England actually got the most despised slot. I may be wrong though, and surveys are often slanted in favor of something. But yeah, there is no doubt America is hated, and England is up there with the US. The hope is that will change.

Lets just say the media has done a nice job in America Edu with their political aggendas. (I have no clue why so many middle class Americans are up in arms)
