In all seriousness, people can't expect one man to simply shout "change" and have the world suddenly become perfect. I don't even think it's been a year yet, and he has been trying, unlike many of America's previous presidents.
Obama's Accomplishments:
- Is trying to make a greener world, with a better economy (Not something that's going to happen in a single term, this much I can promise you)
- Is trying to universalize health care (Massive opposition, some claiming that he's a terrorist and wants to destroy America for this health care plan.)
- Is trying to close down Gitmo (This would be a lot easier if someone, somewhere, would retain custody of the detainees.)

Other President Accomplishments:
Nixon:
The Watergate
Dubyah:
Started a massive war and economic downturn that will take many years to rise out of.
Reagan:
Became famous for being insane, a puppet, and claiming that Soviet Russia was the Harbinger of the Apocalypse.

Well, history shows that so far, Obama has done infinitely better then these guys.

sorry but I have to say something storm, and I am entitled to my opinion and I will say this as nicely as I can.

First he hasn't actually done these things, they haven't physically happened. These are things he is trying to, or says he will do.

Second you wrote. Other President Accomplishments: and Dubyah: was not a president of the us, i can't find who they were, i don't care but they were not a president.

Washington made a standard for ever president to follow, he also helped form the new republic. Lincoln freed ever slave in the us and made every slave free. Theodore Roosevelt made a standard for the modern presidency and helped this country got off its feet and made it a world power. Franklin d Roosevelt helped this country after the depression and helped fix that, and took policies Theodore had and made them happen. Jefferson helped us expend West and fixed the courts. Jackson even though he may be called a king he still made us debt free, even though we went into a depress he did some other things to help too. You picked two not so good presidents to compare them to Obama, when he has been in office for a few months and played the same game and took famous presidents who did good things for this country to show that Obama hasn't done anything yet, so why did he win that prize? And that is what I am saying, really this thread is political and should be looked into being closed. Just saying people.

ok thank you, first how long was the down turn? I believe you might want to look that up. second he was a good president, things could have been a lot worse, and I think that you at least should have respected him enough to say gw bush at least because he was president. I may not like that Obama is in office but I will respect him because he is president. You should respect the president even if you don't like them because it is a hard job. oh and Bush did get this country off its feet after 9 11, if you remember. He started homeland security to make things safer, which they are. Have you heard of any other terrorist plot like that that has happened? No I didn't either, because Bush helped us and now we are prepared and helped change this country so that it doesn't happen like that again. But you didn't remember that did you? I don't think so. Again i am saying this as nicely as possible.
