Let's look at what I actually said:
This shows I wasn't sure about my information, and I didn't say it started the war, but it was certainly one of the major contributing factors.

Are you done...
I thought the Lusitania was what caused the US to enter WWI...not WW2.
It was. But I think Storm might be talking about nother one...maybe.
Torture.
I like to burn Heretics.
Oh yeah...I remember now.
Burn the heretic!

If you're an old OTD poster, you'll know where those flames are from.
You suggested my father told me made up stories. the truth is, my father, like most of the men who were a part of that conflict, never talked about it. The truth is that they just wanted to put it all behind them.
I then posted some factual accounts about how the japanese treated Australian prisoners of war. I said Australian because that is my history, the japanese treated all prisoners badly.
You did not get it.
27% of all the prisoners of war held by the Japanese during the Second World War died in captivity.
That is almost one third. I made no mention of casualties in actual conflict.
Check your numbers. I doubt if the death toll for prisoners of war in any other country would be anywhere near that high.
Finally, show some respect, if not for me, at least for those who suffered and died fighting for their country against a hostile nation. It is even worse that they should be treated in such a way as prisoners of war.
The freedom you now enjoy to express your misguided views cost lives, many thousands of lives. You say you want to discuss history but all I am seeing is a lot of opinion and very little fact.
