Behaviour out of control....

I am incredibly disappointed and frustrated right now. Apparently, off topic is not capable of functioning in even a remotely civil way without close supervision. Oh, and please don't point at the newcomers, because this is you regulars I'm talking about!

In the last week, I've deleted nude pictures, sexist comments, racist comments, profanity, jokes offensive to at least 5 different major groups of people, political discussions, religious discussions, accusations of pedophilia, and now tags claiming someone is a rapist.

Had.
Enough.

If I can't get my work done because you lot have to have someone sitting in here 24/7 watching over you, then I am going to take drastic measures. I will close the bar. I will shut down and/or delete every spam thread on this forum. I will infract every single person who breaks any rule whatsoever, and I will suspend repeat offenders.

You are being unfair to every other person on these forums, and you are being unfair to the staff. And heaven help the new moderators, drawn from your own ranks, who will have this mess to clean up and a riotous group of neanderthals to cope with!

I am warning you all right this moment...no more stupid tags. No more slanderous posts. No more offensive images. No more of all the things you've been doing that you KNOW are wrong. Cut it out and clean up your act. You really don't want to push me on this.

Me either! I am quite anxious to pass the torch. You're going to need a pitchfork too. And a taser. And perhaps an MP5. I'd suggest lots of sedatives, but I think I need those for myself.

I'm a really careful guy when it comes to a rules dominated culture. It's my hobby to follow rules as much as possible and I like to laugh at the people that break them that complain about what they did wrong.
