I'm a little tipsy at the moment so I don't feel like researching and posting an in-depth opinion... I just want to say one thing: Locking the OT forums doesn't solve the problem. The problem is with the posters who get so into a topic (which should or should not have been started in the first place) they disregard the basic rules of forum posting. I think that in general (I say that because there are people here who genuinely have fun and don't cause a ton of trouble intentionally, please blame the whiskey for my lack of true effort, sorry everyone) people need to be put back in check whether it be by temporary bans, warnings, tied up covered in honey and left to my mercy, or just reminded of the rules. But I think too that things shouldn't have to go this far anymore, people should be smart enough to know the rules, or if not, to find out what they are through forum posts or asking one of the many extremely helpful interactive mods!
