Shut down OT!

right i've had my cry over it and now i'm back to be rational.
it appears to me that everyone is in agreement that closeing OT would be a very very very bad idea. good. i'm glad we all agree on that.
that laves no real point to this thead as everyone has had an opertunity to voice thier oppinion and if there are no oppions there can be no discussion. i see no opposing oppnions there for we are done here. right? *walks out befor anyone can answer her*

And I totally agree its on the OT its self it the posters. Its like saying take all Dodge vehilces off the road because they are sometimes involved in crashes.

Maybe we should just ban the random spammers, instead of inconveniencing the people who actually post sensical things?

I really don't see how shutting the OT down for a single day would help at all. You just wake up the next day and see several unreported spam threads opened. A better idea would be to get a mod in here and clean it up, but that's already been asked for about a jillion times.

First of all, you are not the one who decides whether we need 'fresh air for a day.' I, for one, enjoy my sense of free will. Second, do you even know if it's possible to shut down an entire forum for an entire day? Third, if you don't want to deal with us, then leave. In terms of this thread, I'd say that we don't want to deal with you either.

If someone needs a "breath of fresh air" they should just not come to the forums at all. To shut down an entire thread is non-sense imo.

Yeah, I shouldn't of posted something this extremist. I have been thinking and I will be posting a new thread soon providing a much better way to fix ot without creating any problems, keep an eye out for it, I will be posting it once my vacation is over.
Got to go, the tv appearently has new news on the balloon guy.

Honestly, since everyone disagrees with the idea (Even Desal, the OP) this thread should probably just be left to die. All that will occur with more replies is more flaming and more problems.
