I see where you're coming from but it's sounding a lot like "If you don't let him come back, he'll terrorize the entire forum again" and that's what I meant about not wanting a cyber-terrorist in the forums. If someone says something he doesn't like or he doesn't get his way is he going to go on a flaming spree?

He can't throw a fit and ruin it for the rest of us just because he doesn't get his way and ask for another chance after expending 100's of them. It's not fair to every other person who's been banned for throwing a temper tantrum and not doing NEARLY the damage he did.

I understand, and by all means he annoys me as well, yet the question is, What is the least of 2 evils? I'm a person that just doesn't like to justify another persons actions at all. And all we are doing is justifying his actions (in his own mind).

I was just saying that there was a chance to end it, we should take it. As this thread shows, many people never really even knew who ccc even was, and it offered a chance to change things. Many wouldn't have seen that it was unfair (and those outraged by it could have talked to some of us to learn the story and they are reaonable people I'm sure that could be made to understand what I call a lose-lose situation) Its something that the whole community would have to work together on to fix, yet it is a chance that needs to be taken to change the status quo.

And not everyone reacts in the same way. I'm extremely torn about this, but I am tired of ccc's actions and he is the only person that has ever gone this far. And we must work for those to come also.


Yet, again it does not matter now, CCC will be back.

I'd say no, all the way.

CCC is an irritating individual, with the mentality of a lion cub. He's not happy, so he tries to beat up the older lions, who just cuff him aside, which makes him angrier, which makes him try and try again.

If you allow him to remain, I'm fully confident that he will await a point where no mods or reps are online and then start again with his usual song and dance.

not like he wouldn't do that anyways because he isn't supposed to be here. I mean Storm, he'll come on and do that no matter what choice you would make. The hope is to get him to stop.

But whatever. I'm talking for no point now, because the deed is done.

sounds like quite the annoyance. Why would anyone even consider letting him come back?

in my opinion he should be let back. you say he has had a hundred second chances, but how (i really dont know the answer to this) how many times did he come back and ask to be allowed to stay, and become a member of the community again? if the answer is 0, i would think those other "second chances" are hardly second chances at all. if he has, well one more chance wouldnt hurt, but it should be the last one he gets.

This is a matter of integrity, ABakker. Perhaps CCC has good intentions now but does that make his past actions OK now?
