Maybe this has already been addressed, but has the game switched over to the non-beta phase yet and if it hasn't is it happening today?
thanks, and Im sorry if this question has been asked and answered already...

Supposedly very soon, as in a few hours, if the in game mail we all received has any merit to it.
They are starting with the easier stuff, firt. Liek changing the name on all the foeums, then they will change the home site's name and the Ad's name, and prolly in-game name last.
They said "in a few hours" a few hours ago. The game will go down when it does.
These things rarely happen on an incredibly strict timetable. Patience is in order.
I feel incredibly deceived.
This company's banner ad's NEVER mentioned that the game "Civoney" was still in BETA...they have taken players money based on the players' assumptions that this was a 'final release' game...and NOW they do an abrupt about-face with only hours' warning??
I challenge ANYone to find a banner ad that mentioned the fact that this game was still in BETA.
Do they plan on refunding or crediting players who purchased ingame coins while this was in BETA?
I sense a whole lot of PayPal and credit card charge-backs coming...
I don't think this is a bad thing...it mentioned we were going to get a bonus for being a part of the beta "something" and that we are "not" going to lose our cities or account...
(though I am still without my academy research levels and without any of my items, this is a different topic all together, I know. I just cant shake the irritation of it all)
Whether it is "good" or "bad" isn't really my point. The point I am trying to make is this:
Nowhere, from the slick banner ad's with the ripped off image of the girl, to the ToS (Yeah...try FINDING it even), does it say anything about this game being in BETA.
BETA's tend to tout the fact that it is in BETA stage long and loudly before going to the LIVE version. I've been involved in several BETA to Live jumps, and well...hate to say it, but this ain't one of them. This is what we call a "backpedal" after the heat UMGE has taken in the last few days...
I can't find much of anything saying that my city, and location will stay intact
I paid $10 to move my city just a few days ago, and if i would have known that it was a beta, and it was ending in a few days I would not have spent it.
If my city and all my work is gone, I'd expect refund or credits for the next version, I didn't even get a week out of my money!
Perhaps...
As long as it remains free of a monthly charges and I can retain all my cities and account information you can call it any phase you want...:)
