Lol, thanks.

I don't think you can get honor from war-bombing. You can take out more expensive traps/trebs/logs than your warriors, but when you get wiped out as attacker, you get 0 honor. (I could be wrong, but pretty sure you cant gain honor war-bombing)
Edit: I would like to add that the best way to get honor is:
-defend (defense has huge advantage in this game)
-crush weak players. (i.e smash ATs only with closed gates)
The term 'honor' is pretty misleading. Players with high honor usually aren't that honorable, they either got attacked by stupid attacks, or they crush a lot of weak players.
The 'honorable' thing to do would be to pick a fight with someone your own size, which is not good for your 'Evony honor rating'. People with high honor usually only pick fights they know they can win.
Satan is right about the warriors and defenses.
I send in a lot of warriors and archers, using the warriors basically as a huge meatshield and if the persons gates are closed I really don't loose to many warriors or archers unless they have a massive amount of At's. I take out all of there defenses and earn honor like crazy.
It's really that simple in gaining honor fast.
I used +700 archers to take a lvl 4 valley, and I still had losses...Quote:
Archers needed: Level 1- 40
Level 2- 75
Level 3- 150
Level 4- 375
Level 5 and above you will start to have casulaties. Here I recomend sending at least 700 per wave. But split them up to each hero( Ex. 6,000 Archers could be split up to 1,000 per hero, if you have 6 heros).
I never knew honor can also be cheated for.
I am in protection status still and have all the required items and resources, workers, etc to build a second city but i am not given the option. Am I missing something?
To build another city or capture one, you need promotion of your title. You said second city, you can't have a second one because you aren't a knight yet.
First off, this is most excellent guide! I have been looking for more strategies but I kept coming back to this one. This one makes more sense than others, has some great hints, and best of all, easy to read. I swear. Some of the other writers really need to take more English classes before attempting to write a guide.
Anywho, I did not know that honor would reduce heal rate! How did you come to find this out?
I have 190k honor now not because of attacks, but from a single defense. I don't remember exactly what the numbers were, but from two attacks on my main city I gained a good 150k honor. This guy who attacked me was one of the biggest, baddest dude in our state. Attacking everyone around him for his resources like we farm NPC's. He sent an attack onto my city and I was like to hell with it, I'm opening my gates, applied armor buff, apllied attack buff, and switched my mayor to my attack one. Just so I can do the most damage I can with what little I had compared to him. As most people have lost against him, I won! Couldn't believe it! Then another attack came, I reinforced from my other city, couple other alliance members reinforced me, and I won again! Then all hell broke loose and 10 or so alliances declared war on him and tried to attack him. I just sat back and watched it as I rebuilt my forces.
Where I'm going with this is the fact that it sucks that honor pts actually reduce my heal rate. How is this fair? And why is it so? I didn't attack to get honor, I merely defended.
So now I need a guide to reduce honor???
Satan I thought you were in server 37. Aren't you co-host of Ragnarok?
Hey nice guide,
my only objection is about engineering, i agree on machinery, but i wouldnt say engineering is worth 0 maybe not a top priority but still worth it to help ur wall defenses last longer isnt it.
Satan, for someone who 'quit' Evony...you sure do post a lot.
great guide - tank yo very muc or all our efforts.
wow...cant spell. Stupid flash. Thank you for all your efforts.
Couple of places you mentioned "Dark Brady's guide". Link please?
EDIT: Nevermind, found in the sticky "Library of guides"
Ken...(this is really hypocritical of me, but...) stop being so mean to people!
Enlil, I specifically said I wasn't being mean. Also, I didn't use cussing or offensive words. Will you stop?
Can I request you both stop, please?
At least here. Satan's guide thread deserves better than this particular derailing.
You two have clashed elsewhere. Pick up any arguments you want to continue in that previous thread, please.
I'm trying to be as cordial as possible and do not mean any offense. I'm not taking sides or getting in the middle. If you must flame me for this post, then do it in the aforementioned thread
I hear you both. I took it to a PM.
I sincerely apologize, Satan.
this is an amazing guide, great job Satan. how long did it take to get all the info together?
Okay. As you can probably infer, I have thousands of battle reports, and it would be quite hard to find the particular ones that have them. But if you insist, I will test it for you.
Thank you Rota for being the peacemaker here, lol.
I take it by a case-by-case basis. This is only my rough draft at the moment. My Final version will be coming soon. I should be able to finish off the guide tomorrow.
hey how can u increase production with ur mayor is there a formula
hey Satan why does worker cost more than warrior if they are weaker than warrior plz explain?????????
Someone from world chat has applied to join our alliance but no one is online right now who knows how to accept the application. How does one do that? It would be nice not to lose him just waiting to figure this out!! Thanks in advance!
Hero guide
I. Stats-
Politics-(when mayor) Decreases building time, and increases resources per hour. Ex. If you have a Mayor with 100 politics, and increases your BASIC lumber production is 150k per hour, then it increases to 300k.
Intelligence-(when mayor) Decreases Research time, Many people thought that it helped your scouts or help you earn medals more efficiently, but its been proven that Intel does nothing to affect that.
Attack-(when mayor) Decreases troop training time.(when sent attacking), increases attack by ~1.2%
2. Switching heroes- You should switch your mayor out, as the stats dont affect research, training, or building, once its in progress. Depending on what you are doing at the time. ex. If you are training troops, switch to your attack hero, same applies for researching. By doing this, you can gain prestige faster, and more efficiently.
3. Amount of heroes- You should have at least 3 until you come out of Beginner?s protection. Once you are out, get as many as possible. You want 1 politics hero, 1 intelligence hero(once you have researched everything, trade this hero for an attack hero), and the rest attack heroes. Now you may be wondering? Why so many attack heroes? The reason, is because you can spam much more faster with more attack heroes. It will also let you send in waves.
4. Levels of hero- You want your hero to be as low level as possible, with a one high attribute in one area. For example a level 100 hero with 50 intelligence is much worse than a level 1 hero with the same intelligence. A good way to figure out if you should take the hero or not is to use this formula; Stat(input any one stat)- level > 65. If this statement is true, then the hero is a good one.
5. Paying your hero- Heroes salary = 20*Level. Make sure you always have the gold to pay your hero. If you are having trouble paying him/her, then build more cottages and raise tax to 50%. If you got an item from the amulet, don?t use it, until you have a decent amount of gold income.
6. Loyalty- Loyalty is basically how far away this hero is from leaving you. This goes down when you lose battles, or the hero is idle for too long. If loyalty goes below 40, don't freak out. This is easily managed, You can do 2 things, If you have gotten past the rank of Baronet , then you can use Rose Medals or Cross Medals. Or you can reward them with gold, which will increase loyalty of hero by 5. .
7. Getting the heroes you need- There are many ways you can get the hero you need. If you have any hero hunting?s left, then use the; its the quickest way to solve the problem. If not, then you could do 1 of 4 things, 1. Demolish your Inn and rebuild it, this will give you a new list to choose from.
2. Hire the hero, then dismiss him/her. This will give you one more hero to choose from.
3. Attack a valley. If you win, you capture the hero. From there you can persaude him/her to server you. This is easy if you have archers, as you get minimal to 0 loses.
4. Be patient. just wait a couple of hours, and it will refresh.
Make sure check Inn every day in case there's a really good hero. You never know what you might get!
8. Usage of Holy Water
I usually save my holy waters for when I get a good hero of the wheel. For example, I recently got Leather Helm of Beowulf. It gave me a level 22 hero with 72 attack. I used 2 Holy waters on him, and his base attack was 70. After I was done, it went up to 92! So the higher level the hero, the better Holy Water becomes.
Note- Every 10 levels, the hero consumes one more Holy water. So a level 62 hero would need 6 Holy waters to redistribute.
9. Hero experience- Each unit gives Experience In Evony when killed. Below is a list of the experience each unit gives
Worker - 2.25
Warrior - 3.05
Scout - 6.95
Pike man - 9
Swordsman - 13.5
Archer - 13.5
Cavalry - 28.5
Cataphract - 87.5
Transporter - 29.75
Ballista - 100
Battering Ram - 137.5
Catapult - 290
Trap - 8.75
Abatis - 16.75
Archer's Tower - 54.5*
Rolling log - 63
Defensive Trebuchet ? 166
This is tested and proven. Thank you aom12.
Thanks for all the support in the guide, as yet another edition has now been posted. If you feel anything should be added, please reply, or pm me, thanks.
ur welcome always glad 2 help out
I would like to add that I keep at least 1-2 of each medals, because you sometimes need them to pursuade captured heroes.
2 things. One: do the hero stats do anything if they aren't mayor? (if so what.)
Two: I have one main mayor hero for each town and then other heros that i attack with i found this is easier than just switching out mayors.
by non mayor i meant like: if i attack someone do the hero stats affect the battle?
thanks for the other answer though makes sense... kinda
