My name originated on Empire Earth II. A friend of mine and I decided to start up a clan *EoB* (Empire of the Byzantines, this is the friend that got me obsessed with them) and my original name didn't fit with the *EoB* tag. So he suggested Heraclius, after a Byzantine Emperor, and it stuck. I've used it on most games since. My ingame name, Varro... well I'm not really sure. On AoE III, and Company of Heroes, I used the name Marcus Varro (after a famous Roman) and since Marcus Varro didn't fit I just shortened it to Varro. I didn't think of using Heraclius ingame until it was too late.

Mine was made up from random dice rolling for a D&D character back in the early 1980's. I have used it a lot since then as a gaming name in general.

In Hawaiian mythology, Haikili is the god of thunder. I had used variations on it and someone nicknamed me haiku in game chat once. since I like to write in a brief style it fit and I adopted it.

I've been StormWolf since '97. Yeah...I know there are others on the 'net, one of who is rather...uh...famous (infamous), and it is also the name of author Michael Stackpole's website...which ironically was also started in 1997. However, I wasn't even aware of Michael Stackpole til years later, and I've never read any of his works. I honestly don't know which of us used the name first.
I got my name from the fact that I love wolves, and I was into stormchasing at the time. I needed a yahoo email name, and I chose "Stormwolf13", because my favorite number is 13. When I BETA'd the original EverQuest, I was StormWolf...and it stuck. I was also one of the original Neopets members, but my account got frozen (like over half of the membership at that time) when the creators decided, literally overnight, to go "Family Friendly" from an Adult/College type atmosphere, and a lot of us got "iced" for talking like we always had on the forums...about things such as politics, religion, etc. By the time I got back from appealing the IP ban, not only had "Stormwolf" been taken, so had "Stormwolf13".
Most people just call me "Stormy" now...even many people offline...It's pretty much become my real name almost.
And yes, for anyone wondering, I am female...or, as we'd say in the chats...I'm a ****(girl).

i started using dragonmother cause it was a slight variation of my email, which the reason i started using it for that was cause both my husband and i love dragons and i was pregnant at the time...since i gave birth it's become even more accurate....unfortunately it's too long for this game :( so i had to go with something else, 1 of which is lilbeth, which is 1 of the nicknames we call our daughter elizabeth

This game is the only game I use this name on, for obvious reasons.

My close friends used to call me hitch. It's cause I'm pretty random in real life and my train of thought is often really out there. Hitch was short for hitchiker's guide to the galaxy and one of my friends hated the name. Told me it made me sound butch not petite, I was more like an abstract angel, so I started calling myself Abstract Angel 42 in 2001.
