LOL.
(your post is to short blah blah blah)
I have an OLD 3 little pigs story where the wolf eats all the pigs at the end.... :(
I'd have thunk the moral was "don't mess w/ the big bad wolf or you'll find yourself w/ teeth marks"?
Sayin' that I don't know that story well enough >.>
the one i know ends with the pig in the brick house eating to wolf...
Im gonna have to find it... maybe he didnt eat the pig in the brick house... I think instead of running to the other house he ate them
The moral of the story;
with a strong foundation you can withstand anything, it really has nothing to do with the wolf the pigs or the houses. It's about creating a strong foundation for yourself and ensuring you have a future.
k quick run down of the version Dark and i know
3 pigs are sent out to make there way in the world blablabla
wolf huffs and puffs at 1st 2 then eats the pigs in those houses
at the 3rd house he is foiled so tries to get the pig to come out by telling him about some turnips, an apple orchard, and a fair. each time the 3rd pig out smarts him and in the end the wolf looses his temper and threatens to come down the chimny so the 3rd pig puts a big pot on the fire and cooks him when he comes down then eats the wolf that ate his brothers
bit creepy if you ask me
They are all creepy, like red riding hood in the original version the wolf eats granny and red cap (original name) and the hunter comes along and cuts open the wolf's stomach (while it's asleep) and red cap and granny both come out alive. Then they put rocks in the wolfs stomach and sew it up and when he tries to run he dies.
Or Snow White, who was only seven years old when her step mother had her taken into the woods to be killed. It never says how long she was there in the original story, but when she swallows the poison apple and the prince comes along, he buys what he thinks is a corpse from the dwarfs and when she comes to life he decides to marry her.
How old would she have been then? And what was old freaky prince gonna do with a dead girl anyway?
A lot of the old European stories were about the woods and strange things that happened in the deep woods. There was a real fear of the forests when there was much more forest than open land. Woodcutters are often heroes in those stories and wise women who probably lived in the woods to collect medicinal herbs became evil witches
I don't know. I think.
