What Would You Like To See In AGE II
There have been a lot of threads started asking for information about Age II and we all know that there is no information available at this stage. This thread is not about trying to get information, or even looking for radical game changes.It is simply a discussion thread about what we would like/expect to see change.
If we start with the assumption that Age II will basically be not too much different in nature from the present game, that is a war based strategy game set in a similar time period, then we can work from there.
I would like to set a few rules before we start.
1. Don't flame an idea just because you disagree, give a reason why.
2. Keep the discussion about Age II, not about issues with Age I.
3. Try to be realistic. There are limitations to what you can do with a browser based game so keep that in mind.
I will get the ball rolling then.
I would like to see an improvement to battle reports with more detailed information about which units died in which rounds and which units were targeted by which.
I would also really like to see improvements in the methods of feeding large armies. One idea would be that instead of just farming npc towns, have a way to conquer or subdue them (without capture) so that they become vassals and pay tribute to your city, depending on the level of npc and based on a percentage of their production rates. The system could be similar to the current valley system as in one npc city for each level of town hall.
Also I would hope to see some more content in regard to quests, namely a more challenging weekly quest that would give the longer term players something of interest to do. It would need to challenging for all, so perhaps based on prestige ?
Those are a few things I would like to see in Age II. What would you like to see?
