From a modern perspective,what do you guys and girls think were the strengths and weaknesses of the napoleonic code?

this isnt for homework or anything by the way im just interested in hearing your opinions on the Napoleonic Code

The code forbade privileges based on birth, allowed freedom of religion, and specified that government jobs go to the most qualified.

The only real weakness that I can tell is that it is a prelude to communisn, however it gives great freedom and ensures that there will always be a balance in power. It, very much like our constitution, gives the people the ability to rule their own country.
