Aren't you a tad bit early?
Anyway, no Christmas in my books till after the 6th of December.
I got one word for you: THANKSGIVING. :D
Dont forget Pumpkin Pie... mmmmmm, Pumpkin Pie. Theres no thanksgiving without Pumpkin Pie.
Edu, Thanksgiving was first celebrated by the pilgrims when the came to America. They gave thanks for the land (Hence Thanksgiving) And The Food.
Thanksgiving is a time where you eat, celebrate, and thank everything that life has given you, Such as family, food, shelter... anything you are thankful for in life. Like Arumen said, your family comes together on Thanksgiving for a big dinner.
Ah, well, that makes it very clear...
And coming back to my original post where I said no Christmas before the 6th of December:

Read and shiver!!!! Your Santa Claus is a fraudster!!!!
:D:D:D
Happy thanksgiving!!!! *feels tap on shoulder*. *whispers* really? This is for Christmas? Oh well.. * returns to normal voice* happy christmas everyone!!!
well in my opinion, no christmas before thanksgiving >:[ thanksgiving is my favorite holiday for a reason. i love food lol
It being a purely American/Canadian holiday, Edu one would presume Edu's ignorance on the subject, seeing as he lives in the UK.
Don't make assumptions, otherwise you look like an ass.
Actually, its a celebration of when the Natives shared their food with the starving and lost people who'd made the pilgrimage to what became the United States.
Hmm.... First the Natives SHARE the food with the White man, then the White man rapes and kills them and steals their land, as well as raping their customs and culture. And don't forget the slavery.

But aside from that, I agree, no mention of Christmas until at least a week into December.
Unfortunately, with such a massively commercialized holiday, I'm blasted with it everywhere I go as early as Halloween.
I can't wait.
I'm going to see my other side of my family (extended family)
:D
Man everything changed from chirstmas to thanksgiving
What, chirstmas already? But I haven't had my turkey....

Because the holy roman empire couldn't conquer the northern pagans in battle. So they moved some holidays and created some new ones in order to manipulate the pagans into thinking their faiths were similar.
So suddenly there was a "christian" holidays on Samhain, Yule, Beltaine, and many more.
That was also the first time that the father son and spirit we're referenced together as a trinity. In order to show a correlation to the pagan Maiden/Mother/Crone trifecta
No Jesus!! It was Jesus!! Come on!! Ok do you guys believe there Is a god? I do
