"Amish Friendship Bread" has no association with the Amish whatsoever. The actual "yeast starter" passed around doesn't *do* anything, as it's a batter, not a dough, and is not left to rise. The leavening comes from the baking soda/powder that is always required by the recipe. And the claim that "only the Amish know how to create the starter" is false, as it's created with a packet of dry yeast, some warm water, and an initial bit of flour, sugar, and milk... not that it's needed.

Not true anymore. It is no longer illegal to chew gum in Singapore. My dad went there 2 months ago for something to do with Barclays and he says it is no longer illegal.

Actually It's been more screwed up. The new law is that your not aloud to bring in more than 12 pieces of gum, if you do your illegaly importing chewing gum.
