There's a bar in George Orwell's book, 1984 where known dissidents spend their days drinking gin and playing chess while they await their execution.
I have been searching for the name of that bar as I would like to nominate it, but I can't get my hands on a copy of the book and the online versions are incomplete.
So if anyone has a copy and can be bothered, could you find the name please?
