I know I haven't told anyone yet, but yesterday hods offered me a position as a guide writer on hods.com and I would like to have a thread for my
guides I have made for hods.com here. Don't worry though I will still be making guide here on the forums too! :D

The Importance of a Ware House

For intermediate level players.

You have most likely heard from everyone that you don?t need any ware
houses and while that may be true for more advanced players it?s not for
you intermediate level players. I?m not about to say you need you need to
have five plus ware houses, but only one. This is mainly because maybe for
example if you were in an alliance and your alliance went to war with other
stronger players you might get attacked. They would also take all your food
enabling you to comfort your city. So you need to preserve your food with
ware houses. And sometimes the fact of the mater is that it can be simply to
late for your alliance to help you in some situations. So that?s where the
ware house comes in, but for it to work properly make sure 100% of the
storage is at food.

Some of you may be asking about privateering, but not many research it
because most do not care to spend the money to research it. So while there
are some that have it researched you have a better chance of being
attacked by someone with out privateering than someone with privateering.
Now if you are on any older server(servers 1-50) that might not be the case.
So I would suggest that if you are on one of these servers that you get your
ware house and research your stock pile to the highest level you can too.

So once you are no longer an intermediate player you can then destroy the
ware house if you wish.

It's not bad.

Since you mentioned Privateering, you should probably expand on how the tech works. Many people are confused by the wording. People seem to think Privateering10 will loot 30% of the Warehouse current stock but in reality, it only reduces the Warehouse's max capacity by 30%.

Kinda figured they would figure that out in game, but yes I can see how it's a bit confusing.

Captain Virk.. If I can point out.
In server 2, 95% of players have privateering 10. Your info on the last part about not many people bothering with privateering varies. MOST people spend the money, since they have all their techs maxed out by then, and they've got gold lying around everywhere by the billions. And I'm guessing that from servers 1-50, people who can manage to break through defenses usually have privateering 10.
Just pointing it out.

Edit: Still, priavteering takes only 30%, so warehouses are effective for intermediate players.

warehouses stink if you are like me and others you will leave NOTHING THERE. you would probobly be kiiling them so i agree
