I did the same thing with 1k cents that I won. My host's fault though, he told me to do it lol. And also.. I thought 1 barrack and the rest cottages was good, and flipped out when someone reinforced me with 200k archers. lol

used a TON of On wars on my hero to get him to attack 100
lol i miss the noob days new game getting used to now im so exsperienced its never fun anymore i try and make it lol
when i was a noob i .... ***** its been to long i dont remember what i did wrong prolly ALOT though
geez...the good ole days when we would sling 25k warriors at each other, thinking we were bad asses. I remember:
- sending 1 transport when farming an npc city, and being flabbergasted when my alliance mate told me he sent 10
- the concept of having more than 1 barrack was just insane, after all, the npc's only had one
- recruiting for my alliance on world chat
- losing 1 mil archers against 250k archers
- sending workers with my attacks
- builiding a ram army and then being unable to move it or feed it
wow...this could go on and on...:duh:
I remember many of the silly questions I asked in alliance chat, like "Are these barbarian cities going to attack me?" and "How can a flat be a valley?? That makes no sense."
Ah, me....:p
Ahhh the good ol' days, my memories of making a complete noob of myself.
Let's see......
~Thinking that you had to keep your food in the green...if only lol
~Killing 10k archers was a feat
~Having a lv42 hero with 71 attack was a good investment.
and so on....
I do have farms in my city whats wrong with that:confused:
when i was a noob i spent 4 rose medals on a hero to reward, guess what i need 4 rose medals to be baronet
Soooooo many examples you guys have listed i remember doing as well, too funny!
when I was a noob i joined a "peaceful" alliance lol
alot of reasons, A) food is always always always at least 1/2 th3e cost of lumber. but you can produce the same amount of lumber as you do food if you switched those farms to sawmills. and even if you sold ALL of that lumber for its food value (which you wouldnt of course) you get 2X the resources. its just a dumb thing to do, best thing is to make single resource cities, either all umber, or all iron in each city. in fact, ill start a guide thread on that some day. ill PM you if you like, ill go more in depth
(k, no B point, lol, ill go in more depth on a forum thread)
Ah yes the noob days
I sent my entire army on attacks no matter what
Sent the food requirment with my troops
I didnt know i could farm npcs until really late and was scared of lvl10 npcs later still
I was a 1mil pres player who only farmed lvl5s...sad
I'm just new and can't even get the game to load.
I cant remember what things i did worng when i was a noob, i was too drugged up on morphine so i guess there was alot!
I do remember thinking 'Oh god i hope those NPC's dont attack me'
One of the funniest Noobs questions ive been asked tho, is... 'How do i make my archers Fire?' - that one made me smile for days, then cringe just incase I had asked something similar!
when i was a noob i sent my whole army to a city to take it which i took
I remember thinking the NPCs were gonna attack me. And the first time I farmed a 10, I was so nervous I was literally shaking. :P
I thought that my Civilians would like a high tax rate because it would create more funds for a bigger army.
And I asked ... How do i get population to build troops?
lol at that
another one of mine was when i first join i was on server 110 only built a little though then my friends told me to join n1 and thaught i would still have my buildings :o
OH NO!!! I dont remember this 1

Heres the order is screwed up when i was a noob.
1. Building alot of cottages so i could get 50k pop.
2.Building To many farms
3.Having like 3 barracks.
4.Thinking that troops upkeep was bad and i always should be making food
5.Never farming npc's because no one would explain to me how.
And it cold be so much longer, i was such a noob.
When i was a noob.....i thought 100k balista's and no archers was a smart thing......lmao xD nooooobs are the best!!! btw guys i just finished 100k pults and rams ill be posting a thread soon on the reports
lmao i used to constantly build warriors XD
thinking that there was strength in swarms XD
ive got about 3.5 million of those in the graveyard :p
kept my gates closed thinking that my old suzerain couldnt draft if i had my troops locked away XD
oh.... and scouting with only one scout cos i thought it would sneak in :p
-Won a mech battalion on the wheel, opened it, and freaked out because it was eating ALL my food.
-Had a 1/4 farm/quarry/saw/iron.
-Had a somewhat high tax rate and wondered why my pop wouldn't go up.
-Joined an alliance that "owned" Moravia, which ended up getting pwned.
-Ported away the moment someone with a fancy looking building attacked me ;D
Nothing wrong with 1 scout missions, they will detect if the gates are open, and as you do not include any hero losing it means nothing.
Far better than wasting 100k food when sending 125k scouts when 1 does the same job.
My noob moments include keeping gates closed at night, to avoid scout bombs.
Sending pure transports against npcs.
Being afraid to attack an inactive player in age1 with 200 traps and 250 abati.
I remember the 1 scout loyalty runs, the instant npc regens, the medal farming where you got it almost every time, and the first time the forum announced that a player capped the almost godly lv.10 npc.
Ah, simplier days. Where everyone was inexperienced.
losing 500k arch trying to cap my first lvl 10 15 miles away :/
noobs can have 500k archers?
was during the days when u could farm 10s with ballistas and it would regen btwn trips
When i was a noob...
1. "Join or Die" made me pucker.
2. Got excited when i had an alliance with more than 3 people.
3. Got 40mil food from an alliance member and thought "I will never use this much"
4. Sent 500 blas/trans to a lvl 2 npc because i didnt want to loose any.
5. I made 10k arch and thought i was invinsible...
When I was a noob...
I thought having a lvl 10 TH made me look big so no one would atk my lvl 5 walls.
I thought that having 100 pults would let me take any city, so I tried it.
ok, my alliance mates still tease me about this:
When I was a noob:
During my first few days playing, I didn't really understand the concept of the exercise in rally. I thought it was sensible that you needed to keep your boys nice and fit.
Erm... I exercised them. A LOT! *facepalm*
Found myself out of the alliance I'd joined the night b4 after someone shut it down and spent the next few months unallied but somehow maintaining a "neutral zone" in half of Franconia. Only on the newest servers could such a thing happen...
lmao my noob mistake was to sign into an alliance run by a kid who was watching too much tv :p
most useless host vote goes to legion501 XD
former host of REPUBLIC NA6
(and if its a troublesome thing for the mods, please feel free to ammend it)
when i was a noob
i sent my 7k warriors at a lvl 10 and sure i would win..didnt scout so didnt have a clue what was in there.
used my script on a farm.those were the days
NUCLEAR ASSAULT
host of fuzicide server 127
prestige..39 million
ranked 2nd for title and prestige
not a noob anymore
My host told me without 50k archers my towers would do nothing and I believed him.
He took advantage of my noobness
haha, i thought of another one. not mine, my friends. in his 1st week of the game, he was sending his entire army at a NPC. (he didnt know what lv) and he says he was sooooo close to winning, if he had like 100 more warriors or something he would have won...... he felt dumb when i told him that even if he had won, he would gain nothing but the resources that the winners could carry back, and other than that it was an entire waste. lol.
other than that he caught on to the game really really quick. he got 100k prestige on his first server right out of BP.
- 1mil res was INSANE
- Hero's? What's a hero?
- MAYOR? Never had one of those
- Cotts, farms!
- Green upkeep!
- HOLY ****, 30hrs for research/building
- How do I scout?
when I was more of a noob than I still am, I thought my alliance host was giving good advice when he said "whatever you do, NEVER let your food production go into the red." So yeah -- 45% L9 farms, 10 L10 Lakes, levying food whenever possible... game play showed me fairly soon how completely odd this host was (and the fact that his alliance kept shrinking). Took me forever to replace the farms, then all the lakes with forests and hills.
