It really did.... And even Ferguson admitted it was a deserved win...
I also hope that to top up a nice week for that team, ManCity will win the semi final of the League Cup on Wednesday...

Who's not heard of Leeds? They're the powerhouse of League 1. :p
Maybe Leeds are the Giant Killers of this years FA Cup? :)
Giant killers?
Leeds are the Barcelona of English football! They ARE the giants.
Newcastle forever m8
League division one is just a couple of words.
Leeds United means 'Victory'
Leeds United means absolutely nothing anymore, gone glory... People living in the past. Same as Nottingham Forest btw....
Nice ground tho Elland Road, I can clearly remember a match in one of the European Cups that I visited there, when PSV (Eindhoven) demolished Leeds 5-3 at home.... One of the best away matches ever.
This is ENGLISH football, Knuckles, not carry-egg or egg-ball.
As in the football where you kick it and throw yourself on the floor when someone just skims your leg in the hope of a penalty.
I thought a Colt was a donkey...
Nah, Ronaldo's gone, so that's half the divers gone. Now, what to do about Drogba. :p
EDIT: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1240631/EXCLUSIVE-Sheffield-Wednesday-target-United-rival-Neil-Warnock-vacant-managers-position.html
Yeah, like that's gonna happen. ;)
EPL Blows. A bunch of whiners and floppers that foul anytime they get beat defending. Serie A is the best league out there, but if you want to actually see greatness, La Liga is where its at. Viva Los Blancos, Hala Madrid!!!
Well, ok. I will admit I love Liverpool, but they always trade away their best players. Gerrard and Torres will be gone next year. Guaranteed.
Serie A? When's the last time any team from Italy has won something in Europe that was NOT bought?
and Madrid? isn't that the club that's over 300 million in debt? In many countries you wouldn't even get a license to play, but here they go and buy another 94 million player, to get them even further in debt, and where does it bring them? Yeah, second place... That's the place that doesn't count you know...
I think even the championship is a better league than Serie A ;)
I think the spanish league is proberly the best in the world now but it won't be for long as i'm sure as soon as Derby get back into the EPL and concede 6,7,8 goals every week... that will take the EPL straight back to number 1 :D
wow! sounds like envy and jealousy. I understand people like what like, but when it comes down to it, the smaller clubs in Serie A are much more competitve than the smaller clubs in Premier. It's funny that you would bring up $$ when Man U is the wealthiest club in the world. and if you have money you spend it, why not? Give the fans what they want. That's why La Liga has the best players in the world.
Okay folks. I know how bad this can get, so I'll let you all know right now I won't let it. No Hooliganism or whateverism in this forum. :)
c'mon Wildor, I wasn't provoking anyone. Actually I was just saying that people are gonna like whatever they like and no one will change their minds. Its all a matter of opinion, I could be totally wrong. I just know that Madrid is my team and as much $$ as they've spent this year I will be very let down if they dont come away with the Champions trophy. :D
It's all good in this thread, no hard feelings. But sticking to the point of this thread LIVERPOOL's the best in EPL :p
Envy & Jealousy?
I'm surprised you come up with those words.
What I said was that a club like Real Madrid, in debt for an obscene amount of money, wouldn't get a license in many European countries. The fact that they are still in competition is beyond me.
I never mentioned ManU. They might be the wealthiest club, but I didn't bring them up. Real hasn't got the money, if you are 300m in debt, you don't have it. simple as that.
I thought we were talking about the EPL here, but w/e. I guess I'm not sure where you're getting your #'s from, Madrid is the top grossing club in the world. When they made their deal with Addidas it completely wiped out their debts. Club owners are always gonna spend w/e they can to win.
And there will always be someone to buy the club if their in trouble (if they're worth it). Right now there are a lot of English clubs that are in big time debt. Aston villa, Man city, Newcastle, even Chelsea's in trouble again. But whatever man, it's about the play on the pitch, not the $$. :D
You don't really follow English football do you?
Newcastle United got relegated last season and doesn't play in EPL, as you call it, anymore...
ManCity? Hmmm, isn't that the club owned by the sheiks of some Arab country? In debt? Right... Oh that's the same sheiks that offered 1 billion for Real Madrid, to clear out the 300 million debt. You seriously don't think Adidas is paying 300 million per season do you...
They're German by the way, not Spanish.
well, I gotta admit, I have been bored with Premier for the past few years so I guess I missed the relegation. lol. Those smaller teams go back and forth all the time. Another example of the fact that the bottom of the barrel clubs aren't as competitive as the same clubs in Serie A.
and in 2007 Adidas made an image rights deal for over $700 mil. that was plenty.
cheers bro, I'll stop posting cause I don't want this to get outta hand. HALA MADRID!!
Oh no, I was saying that Serie A is the toughest to play in, but La Liga has the most talent.
... Ok, cya :)
So who honestly thinks Chelsea can hold out for the rest of the season?
Yeah, I can't see Liverpool climbing up to the top this season, but if they hit the form they ended on last season I can see it all too clearly.
I can't see my beloved Wolves staying up this season.
im bothered about wolves i'm just bothered about liverpool
LOL Thor nice and your right..
but Fergie last season he had a go at 2-3 refs just because Man U lost the match what does that say about him....
no premiership, no European Cup, and no FA CUP.....hahahahahahahahahah, Go Gunners !
Fergie just doesn't get along well with people who disagree with him, that's all XD
What happens to people who tell him that:
